It's time to announce the winners of our Midseason 11 Guide Contest! There were a lot of fantastic guides that qualified for this contest, but we could only pick up to three winners in each category. Check out the honorable mentions in each section for more great guides! 🏆
As a quick reminder, all winners of this contest will receive equal prizing. The winners of any category will receive $200 value prize! Honorable mentions will receive a $50 RP Code (7200 RP).
We’ll be sending out emails to all the winners shortly asking for their preferred prize type and other required information. The prizes can be claimed in the form of RP Codes, Amazon Gift Cards or cash paid by bank (PayPal is unavailable). Honorable mentions will receive a $50 RP Code (7200 RP) each.
In addition to the prizes above, the authors of the winning guides for each category will receive a unique badge for their profile. The badge will be linked to their guide so that anyone can easily check out their awesome guide with just one click!

The guide goes over various common topics but also more advanced ones such as the correct mindset and Rek'Sai's micro and macro aspects. Give the guide a shot if you enjoy jungling and let LordGrox if they should create more guides!

Silverman needs no introduction. Over the years he's established himself as one of the best authors of our community. For this guide contest his work has focused on a guide for Diana and it was well worth it. Going through the huge amount of information that this guide offers feels like a breeze thanks to its beautiful and organized formatting, carefully coded by Silverman to ease the viewer's reading and learning process. Truly a new masterpiece of our community!

Citric used to be a new face around the community when they won the previous guide contest. Now they're already a notable author that other writers look up to, thanks to their flawless Shyvana guide. The guide's coding is straightforward and might seem simple to reproduce at first, but making a guide this clean and easy to read is the work of a master. Almost a year after the guide's first publish and it still remains one of the best resources available on MOBAFire!

This victory will come as no surprise for everyone that is familiar with Katasandra's work. Her outstanding coding skills are her secret ingredient for creating spectacular guides for everyone to enjoy. We're still wondering which of her skills surpasses the other... her expertise with Lissandra or coding? Maybe we'll never know, but for now her unmatched skills have been proved over and over again by her one of a kind Lissandra guide and multiple formatting guides.

The one and only IKeepItTaco worked tirelessly to create an Akshan guide and publish it on the day he was released. Take a look at the sheer size of the guide and imagine it's only 1/4 the length of his main Jhin guide. Mind-blowing! Even so, the guide covers everything that you need to know in order to understand how to properly play Akshan and how to effectively use his abilities and gimmicks to your advantage.

It's been half a year since their last victory and the guide got continuously updated and improved even more, making it one of the largest 5 guides of our community. It was difficult for us to go through all of his guides and we imagine how long it actually takes to maintain all of his guides. Ah whoops you weren't supposed to see that! Well, it's actually true. L3gislacerator held this spot for many years and it's not looking like that will change anytime soon. His Taric guide remains legendary and unmatched and it's going to take a lot for another guide to surpass it.

Another new author that blessed us with a beautiful guide for Yuumi. Xyea's guide is competing with many other Yuumi guides in the rankings but they managed to impress us enough to place them among the winners. The guide already is very in-depth and covers many relevant topics on how to play Yuumi, but it looks like the author plans to add many more chapters to further make the guide even more complete than it already is. Great potential and amazing content!

Guoblide does it again with their guide for Braum! We will remember when Guoblide first joined our community to compete in the weekly challenges, and we're glad they took a shot at the guide contests as well, because they're a truly talented author! In case you were wondering what happened to Maintained, don't worry, their guide just moved over from the jungle category to Revival! An outstanding guide across the board, Maintained maintains the guide like no other and always keeps it in the best shape possible. A must read resource for any Skarner and jungle players!

It's complex, it goes through everything you need to know in order to play Kayn well, it's beautifully written and formatted, there's nothing else you could ask from a guide. Who else to win a coding category other than the coding queen herself? Katasandra has always been a talented coder and she has helped many other authors improve their guides and formatting skills. Instead of using her talents to her sole advantage, she created multiple guides to teach others how to improve their guides and she recently released a guide dedicated to responsive columns (mobile friendly). Her work deserves more than we could ever offer!
