Alright, the
Runes
... I don't necessarily own these
Runes
BUT they are good suggestions at least.
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration is useful well... helps with your Skills obviously, not sure what else to say about that
Rune
. Greater Seal of Defense is just to help increase your Armor which is quite helpful... since
Galio is more of a Tank / Support character.
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist is VERY useful since
Galios' Passive Skill converts his Magic Resist into Ability Power. Greater Quint of Shielding is pretty much the same explanation as the last
Rune
.

Okay...
Masteries
are quite simple to grasp... not many points into the Offense Tree since
Galio doesn't need too much of it, but still could try another way I suppose? @_@ The Defensive Tree should have more points into it, could be like this, or be a different way, whatever... reason I chose this way, is 'cause
Mercenary
gives you extra Gold and since
Galio is a bit weak early game... it is useful. The Utility Tree can be messed with if you wish, but for me... or least this idea at the moment, didn't use it. Oh yeah, almost forgot... with the combination of
Sorcery and
Enlightenment
, you got yourself an extra %12 to Cooldown Reduction. :P

Alright... obviously, have to get some cheap stuff but yet useful
Items
. Following this Guide/Build, you should get
Boots along with one
Health Potion and one
Mana Potion. The potions will help you lane a bit longer, and can buy more I suppose through out game play and/or an extra
Health Potion in the beginning if you so desire. The
Boots are necessary for your next item, the
Mercury's Treads. These boots increase
Movement Speed
, Magic Resistance, Ability Power thanks to
Galios' Passive Skill, and of course...
Tenacity
which is always helpful. >:)
Next Item you want to aim for is the
Abyssal Mask, 'cause it is extremely good on
Galio and also helps out other team mates who use Ability Power type of Skills, henceforth; team mates could just grab a
Void Staff instead or another item.
For your third and fourth
Items
, you should get the
Frozen Heart and
Force of Nature. You can get either in a different order depending on the foes you are facing.
Frozen Heart is your Armor Item, so you aren't so squishy... and slows your foes Attack Speeds, making you die NOT as fast; hopefully. While
Force of Nature is another overall boost to yourself.
For your last two
Items
, you should perhaps get
Rylai's Crystal Scepter and a
Frozen Mallet. Both will slow your opponents, which is very useful for not just you whomping on them... but also useful for your allies to whomp on them. You play as a
Support
AND can go 1v1 with others, or perhaps... maybe 1v2. Also, both the
Items
give you more Health, which makes it even harder to kill you.
Should easily have around 266 Ability Power by level 18, so despite on what the Stat part on the Guide says... you should be hitting pretty hard with your Skills, so yeah... this is a nice Item Build in my personal opinion, and quite nifty as well. :)

Okay... you want to put more points into
Resolute Smite since it is your Skill with the lowest Cooldown and is cheaper.
Bulwark isn't that necessary since you will be getting some good
Items
to increase your Armor and Magic Resistance, just as your ally will do the same, also you may use it more to recover some extra life.
Righteous Gust you will need more than
Bulwark since it is a bit more helpful. It damages enemies, and increases allies
Movement Speed
which is great for chasing down foes from escaping or giving an ally a little push to the battlefield, alongside yourself.
Idol of Durand is your Ultimate, so you obviously want to get it when ever you can.

Alright, upon how to use your Skills for some good or at least decent Team Work... depends on the various situations. If you are in a lane with someone, you could use
Bulwark on them to increase their Armor & Magic Resistance so they can charge at an enemy. You could then initiate your
Resolute Smite to do some damage at least to that Champion, and when the foe starts to run, use your
Righteous Gust to help your team mates catch up to him.
P.S. - If you have all the
Items
on this Guide, you will keep the foe slowed a decent bit of the time, depending on the Champion you are going against.
If you are going Solo, you could hit them with a physical attack to start a slow on them, then if you are level 6 at least, use your
Idol of Durand since you have a 2 second channel for it or use it fast, to do a quick burst of damage to them. Then, use your
Resolute Smite for more damage and to slow them more, rush up and start beating on them. If they start to get away and you are hurt, use
Bulwark on yourself, then use
Righteous Gust towards the enemy. You will catch them easily with that extra boost of speed while they get slowed again, and can whomp on them some more... initiate another
Resolute Smite and probably got that toon decimated.
P.S. - This of course means if you get at least
Frozen Mallet and
Rylai's Crystal Scepter to slow them down, and at least
Force of Nature for better survival.

Summoner Spells
Alright... not much to be said here, and you could use multiple different ones depending on what kind of team mates you have, or personal preferences. I choose
Smite and
Flash, reason why;
Smite is great for taking out stronger
Minions
, or random
Creeps
on the map.
Smite is also useful against
Annie's bear
Summon: Tibbers (A.K.A. - Skill for him is
Summon: Tibbers) who is QUITE an annoyance at times.
Flash is PERFECT for either escaping or chasing down your foes, I say that it is a must for most characters unless they already have a Skill like
Flash. :)

Alrighty then... I think that is it for this Guide upon
Galio. If anyone has suggestions, go ahead and say them... also, as I have said on my build for
Udyr, please save the negative criticism. If you don't like the Build/Guide, then don't even comment nor Vote, unless this Guide has failed you. Give it a try before trying to bring it down, that's what people, and why people make Guides in the first place. :)
Also, hope this Guide helps other players or gives them another idea to try out sometime and see how it goes in their favor. Good luck upon gaming everyone. ^_^
