Threats & Synergies
This is the easiest Match-up ever for Kayle. Dodge his Cleaver (Q), stay at the right distance (Righteous Fury Distance "E") and Mundo can't really do nothing in lane against you. Poke slowly Mundo with your auto attacks and Reckoning (Q). you can't really fail against Mundo!!!
Slow Garen only when he has ended his charge (Q) and not before, beacause that ability will remove Kayle's Reckoning slow effect. Just keep in mind this Rule and all will be fine.
Gangplank has to decide if kill minions with his Parrrley Ability (Q) or try to poke you down with it, you can do both the things at the same time with your Righteous Fury Ability (E)!!! Just pay attention to his barrels hided in strange places and he will be useless against you.
His shield doesn't parry your Righteous Furty (E). Just pay attention to his dash and dodge his cyclone. That's all...!
Super Easy match up at the beginning. Nasus can't really do nothing against you in the first minutes of game, but be careful to not let him farm a lot of minions with his (Q) or he will kill you really in mid/late game. Just farm 2 or 3 minions less but make Nasus is unabled to farm!!!
Shen is really hard to kill in early game, but at the same time he can't really do nothing to kill Kayle in early game. Just farm better then him and wait for ganks. Easy kill with the help of the Jungler if you keep Shen low life in lane.
Volibear's Passive Ability is very boring, making difficult for Kayle to kill him. When you see Volibear to 4-legs ready to charge and strike you back, use Kayle's Reckoning ability (Q) followed by Divine Blessing (W) and strike him hard while backing!!!
Fizz isn't a big problem for you. Counter his ulti with your Ulti and hit hard with your Righteous Fury (E). He can dodge your Reckoning (Q) using his stupid Jump, just wait that ability to slow him down with Reckoning.
This is the hardest tank to fight, because he isn't so easy to poke down cause his Passive and Seismic Shard Ability (Q). He can slow you and gain movement speed to try to kill you in 3 or 4 strike!!! Counter his Q with yours and wait that he will end his mana to try to kill him. Pay particularly attention to Gank because Malphite's ultimate can easily blow you in air, and the jungler can fastly finish the work!!!
Don't try to kill him alone after reaching the level 6!!! Tryndamare's ultimate is stronger than yours in lane. His Spinning Slash Ability (E) covers a lot of ground making it possible to get close to Kayle and do so much damage to her. One good thing is farming better than Tryndamere and to waste his ultimate without suffering too much damage to kill him at the end of the 5 seconds of immortality, not an easy job, but doable.
Vladimir's Transfusion ability (Q) has the same range of Kayle's Reckoning ability (Q), so when you are hit from that ability use yours to slow him and strike hugely with Righteous Fury. Both can heal ourself and do a lot of damages in 2 or 3 seconds of battle, but Kayle does more damage over time, and Vladimir has a better escape. Nice and interesting match up, just farm and play better than him.
Darius is huge to conuter... His damage is really high and he can kill Kayle really faster if understimated. You have to dodge his Apprehend ability, his pull (E), and then you can out trade or pocke him down. If Darius grab you, you probably will have to fight, counter his ultimate with yours, stay away from his healing circle and you can win the fight. In any case it still remains a bad match up!!!
Irelia is really strong from level 3 onwards. Try to take damages and farming advantage in super early game to have a small advantage for the future. She can dash on you with her Bladesurge (Q) and stun you with her Equilibrium Strike (E) if you have more life than Irelia. Be careful when you are both around half life because if you have a bit more life then Irelia, she will stun and easily kill you...! A good strategy against Irelia is to continue to change lane with your mid-laner mate and try to gank her in 2 or 3 with your jungler. However it isn't a good match up.
Never fight Mega-Gnar...! Remember NEVER FIGHT MEGA-GNAR!!! You surely will die against his Megaform, just stay back and slow him and heal you when he is a giant monster. If you avoid his boomerang, you will have a good match up when he is into his normal form, try to predict when it will turn into a giant monster and pay attention to his stones.
Riven is one of the worst match for Kayle top laner. She can spring forward and close her Broken Wings (Q"x3") combo in your face throwing Kayle in the air...! Begins to back at the first use of Broken Wings (Q) thanks to your Divine Blessing (W) to avoid the 2° and the 3° strikes, now is time to counterattack! Use your Reckoning (Q) to Slow Riven and hit hugely her with your (E) auto-attack ability!!! Try to buy Berserker Greaves faster as possible maybe before to close Nashor's Tooth to take more movement speed advantage when she charges you.
If Cho'Gath is a good player this match up will be very difficoult. He can easily silence you with his Feral Scream (W), Rupture (Q) can blow you up and deal massive damages to Kayle, in addition he can damage you at every auto-attack with his spikes. The key is to dodge his Rupture Ability (Q), and keep a good positioning in lane in wool to prevent the spikes of Cho'Gath's autoattack strikes you in face!!! Continue to move to not give references to Cho'Gath and you can farm decently and try to do one kill after dodging his abilities.
Impossible match up...! Xin Zhao can safely jump on Kayle and easily kill her with his combo [E+(W+Q)] and with his higher attack speed...! Absolutely change lane faster as possible!!!
Simply the worst match up doable for Kayle...! Same thing of Xin Zhao; Jump, Stun, Death!!! Ah...! And to make matters worse, while Jax is in his defensive position, he also will dodge all Kayle's auto-attacks!!! Switch lane with your mid-laner, no other chances!!!
Xerath is really super squishy. One of the few match up where Kayle should stay as close as possible to her opponent...! Push Xerath back and try to avoid all of his skillshots. Counter his ultimate with yours and strike him hugely with your (E). A little advice; don't follow Xerath under his tower, because you will end only to lose life from his long-range ability without being able to hit him in any way!!!
Hard match-up. He can slow you down and do to Kayle a lot of damages while she runs back. The best way to not suffer too much damage is staying behind minions and focus him with all you can use!!! If your lane is full of allied minions you can engage Trundle and defeat him, if not, run back before it's too late!!!
Truly a bad match up...! You can't predict her stun so easily, and from level 6 onwards will be serious troubles with Tibbers at her side!!! Try to count the number of skills used by Annie in lane and so stay back when she has the stun charged...! Really an hard work!!!
Fiora is super annoying for her Riposte ability (W). She can parry Kayle's Reckoning (Q) and spring forward in front of you thanks to her Lunge ability (Q). In this situation don't fight if you haven't Kayle's Ultimate. Try to poke Fiora down with your Righteous Fury ability (E), and go all-in only if you have ready Kayle's ultimate and if Fiora has already used her Riposte (W) and Lunge (Q).
Another easy match up, her range is really too low to do something to you before to reach the level 6, just poke Akali down and be ready with your ultimate if she uses her ultimate.
Kayle's ultimate annihilates Zed's ultimate. Pay attention at where Zed puts his shadows, and put yourself in positions to be able to dodge their Shuriken. Wait for level 6 and destroy him!!! When Zed use his ultimate, wait 1 second and cast your ultimate on the target to counter its effect.
Kayle can engage Anivia only before both has reached the level 6, and only if you have dodged the stun. Anivia's ultimate is really one of the strongest of the game both in team fights and in lane, especially against champions like Kayle based on auto-attacks at mid range. Try to farm and dodge everything and wait for ganks. The good thing is that Anivia hasn't any escape if ganked.
In her human form she cannot really do any damage to you if not with her spear, an easy counter to that ability it is to stand behind a minion. In her puma form she can only jump towards you dealing light damages, but she still remains a melee without any stun and slow effects...!
Equilibrated match up. Dodge her Noxius Blast (Q) or she will bombard you with her Twin Fangs (E), if you succeed to doge her (Q), you will try to seriously damage Cassiopeia by Reckoning + Righteous Fury in rapid fire mode. I suggest to play safer after level 6 because Cassiopeia's ultimate is really strong if you follow her in open field.
Dodge the 3 cards and you will have an easy life in lane. Pay attention to Twisted Fate's Yellow Card, he probably will receive a gank from their jungler if he chose that card. Buy some wards to be safe in lane phase.
Another orrible match up, especially in early game, Brand can poke you down thanks to his passive ability, and kill you stunning Kayle while she is burned with his Sear ability (Q). Try to dodge all the dodgeable and strike hard when he is discharged. But it isn't so easy to do...!
Farm with Azir in lane isn't easy. Probably he will try to poke you down with his soldiers, try to do the same with your auto-attacks but without risky too much. Probably Azir will push more than you, but if you are good enough to send your minions under enemies turret, pay attention to Azir's combo with his ultimate + Shifting Sands (E), with this combo he can throw you forward under his turret taking a lot of fatal damages!!!
