Introduction
Welcome to my first Legue of Legends guide!
My first time with

I was really surprised how easily it was. I was clearing the jungle with out loosing health. Enemy team were spaming things like "Taric jungle wtf?!", "Report Taric?", "GG sory for trolls", but after few minutes, they stoped laughing.
I was killing carry almost instantly and they had no idea about my power (and me too).
If you are interested in this guide, and you already start reading something, let me show you, why I started to thinking about

Riot changed

- Base Attack Damage reduced to 57 from 62

- Taric's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage equal to 2% of his maximum Mana; this bonus damage is doubled against champions

- Passive Armor aura adjusted to 12% of Taric's Armor from 10/15/20/25/30 (Taric's self-Armor bonus remains 10/15/20/25/30)
- Active damage now additionally scales with 30% of Taric's Armor
- Mana cost reduced to 50 at all ranks from 50/60/70/80/90

This chapter will be edited soon.
Taric is something new for everyone, even for me. That is why i'm still learning and looking for new possibilities.
Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush
In my oppinion
Taric needs flat AD, for faster jungle clearing, and better ganks. It's because i'm preferring starting with
Cloth Armor. Probably more armor in runes will allow you to start with
Hunter's Machete.

Runes

In my oppinion

Every game is different, and you have to look at each game otherwise.
I'm suggesting you some items, but remember, I'm not playing with you and you may need something i just couldn't predict.

Begging of the game (with these runes and masteries):
1/ With
Hunter's Machete
Allow you to clear jungle faster, but your damage and survival against players is much weaker. It is good choice if your enemy is playing safe making your ganks hard to be successful. With
Hunter's Machete you will be able to farm and get more gold from jungle.
2/ With
Cloth Armor
Increase your early damage and survival against champions, in place of damage in jungle. Hopefully you have no more health after killing camps. This is the beginning for active junglers, who want to gank much in early.
Average times and hp (after clearing: BLUE → Wolves → Wraiths → RED → Golems):
-
Cloth Armor – 4:00, ~520hp
-
Hunter's Machete – 3:50, ~370hp

After first back
Philosopher's stone is really important item, it will give you some gold, and it will allow you to give second blue to your mid player if only he needs it.

Second back
Tear of the Goddess → get it as soon as possible! It will take you long time to get full stacks on it.
Giant's Belt → you are tank, your based armor and magic resist will help you in early and it will be enough to buy health now.
Boots → Think about your situation. Are you doing well? You are ganking much? (
Mercury's Treads) Or you failed a bit and you are counting on better later game? (
Ninja Tabi)
But it's not everything about boots.
Ninja Tabi can be useful even if you are ganking much and you are doing well. This item counters champions like:

Core Items
Shurelya's Battlesong is one of the most useful items I find for ganks and late game. It's not only engeging tool, it will allow you and your team to push, chaise, run away, and move to the safer parts of the map after pushing or doing dragon/nashor.
Season 3 in dominated by items with actives:
These items can slow one or more of your team mates. That's why ability to increase someone movement speed is so important.
Manamune/
Muramana is your bread and butter. This is just perfect for
Taric. This item with your new passive changes
Taric in to killing machine (as tank can be of course).
6% (Current mana) from
Muramana and 4% (Maximum mana) from your passive gives you insane damage!
At level 18 you will have about 2500 mana.
Gemcraft: 4% → 75 extra damage against champions
Muramana: If you will have about 70% of mana → 105 extra damage
So together
Taric has about 180 extra damage with this build.

First item after core
Spirit of the Ancient Golem – This item give you 35% of tenacity, it makes your farm much easier. Works well with
Ninja Tabi.
Sunfire Aegis – One of my favourite items. Personally I prefer this item over
Spirit of the Ancient Golem. It makes your jungle faster, and increase damage versus players because of the passive, and it gives more armor.
Aegis of the Legion – If enemy team got magic damage it will help you and your team mates. You ask your support and top player if they are buying this. One Aegis of the Legion is enough for team.

Fourth item
Some questions to make this pick clear:
1/ Do you need more damage or durability? (damage –
Frozen Heart, durability –
Randuin's Omen)
2/ Enemy is focusing you? (yes –
Randuin's Omen, no –
Frozen Heart)
3/ Enemy team have about 3 champions with heavy based attack damage? (yes –
Frozen Heart, no – check first and second question)

Last Item
Banshee's Veil – Because you enemy team have heavy magic damage, or champions like
Nidalee(AP),
Karthus,
LeBlanc,
Veigar. Remember that
Banshee's Veil allow you to deny one stun/slow/snare per 25 seconds.
Trinity Force – It gives you everything you need for damage, but remember you are tank. Get it only if your team is wining really hard and you don't have to be more tanky.
Warmog's Armor – Health nothing more. With this build you have much armor/magic resist and with extra 1000 HP you will be more then immortal.
I'm suggesting you some items, but remember, I'm not playing with you and you may need something i just couldn't predict.

- Fed or getting fed ADC like:
Sivir,
Ashe,
Vayne,
Quinn,
Tristana,
Miss Fortune,
Twitch,
Corki. It wont help you much against
Graves or
Ezreal.

- Use your
Radiance to increase damage from your
Shatter.
Radiance improve not only your damage but
Imbue too.
- Consider running and attacking. Sometimes it's better so stay and attack to decrease cooldown for your
Imbue. Remember with each hit on enemy decrease cooldown by 1 second (3 seconds while attacking champion).
- Use
Radiance at beginning of team fights to increase damage of your team mates.
- Remember that your
Dazzle deal more damage when you are near enemy.
You are jungler so

I'm not recommending any other spells. Not for
