Taliyah Her kit deals a shit ton of damage but you can dodge her skills easily. If you get surrounded by her stone mines, DON'T DASH WITH YOUR W, YOU WILL BE SHREDDED.

Tricky, Aren't You?

Introduction
-
Welcome, Deceivers! \(^▽^)/
My name is Elusive LeBlanc, and I main LeBlanc, The Deceiver... and no, this is not a lie. ( ̄▽ ̄*)ゞ Anyways, back to the Introduction... I have always embraced the style and uniqueness of LeBlanc and how she does not always need to rely on combos to get her through. Her kit and playstyle makes endless possibilities of how you can manoeuvre her and juke your enemies senseless. It makes escaping really easy and fun and engaging fast and swift, while ensuring a kill. Do note that I am not an expert at her (not yet), but I believe strongly through my passion for this character, I can slowly (but surely) improve on her and I can also share my knowledge with anyone reading this guide now. ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ This is also my first time creating a guide so if you guys have any suggestion to make it better, I'm all ears!

Alright, that's it for the intro I guess...(≧◡≦)

Summoner Spells
-
: Viable Spells :
FLASH
Flash enables LeBlanc, as well as many other champions to have a fast escape, to finish off an enemy, to dodge a fatal attack and many more ways. So this is definitely a MUST.

IGNITE
Ignite is what I usually take as it enables LeBlanc to secure a kill on a low hp enemy champion, usually as ignite reduces healing and does DoT too. Even if you have ignite up, you shouldn't be too relaxed as you are still squishy. If an enemy is low, do a W (to get into range)> Ignite > Q > W (back) and that should do the trick.

BARRIER
Having shield as a summoner spell can save your life if you make a mistake in positioning and an enemy is trying to burst you down with a full combo (e.g. Syndra, Lux). Take this especially if you are new to LeBlanc or facing a bursty champion.

CLEANSE
You can choose to take this if you are facing a Veigar for fear of his Event Horizon or Cassiopeia's Petrifying Gaze or Varus's Chain of Corruption or Lissandra's Frozen Tomb and any form of CC that will lead to death. It can save lives.

EXHAUST
With its lowering of target enemy's damage removed, it's not a very good pick anymore but you're a LeBlanc, it can help you get your kill if the enemy is escaping.
TELEPORT
Usually I would discourage the use of teleport because you have a flash spell in your kit to roam quickly and to get into other lanes to participate in ganks. Also, I don't think a "Grand Entrance" is going to help you assassinate carries and quickly escape. You could, however, use this spell when you have a Taliyah or Twisted Fate or Shen in your enemy team if you insist on taking this spell to quickly get into teamfights. Not a bad spell but I don't recommend it as there're much more other viable spells that can help you much more.

: Non-Viable Spells :
GHOST
I wouldn't recommend this spell on LeBlanc at all as she has the capability to kite and dash fast enough to render this spell useless on her. Don't take it, use other spells that can do a better job to protect, secure a kill or escape.

HEAL
Another spell that I wouldn't recommend taking at all. Grievous Wounds, Ignite, and most crowd control spells counters Heal and thus, it's not that effective as compared to when you choose Barrier instead. Unless you're certain you really want to use it when facing (e.g. A Vel'Koz) that needs to escape with heal and a speed boost, don't take it.

SMITE
Hmm, this skill may be useful to LeBlanc, now that I think about it. When you get a Stalker's Blade - Runic Echoes, you can use chilling smite to slow them down and deal true damage while you burst them down. I'm totally just joking, don't ever take this on a LeBlanc unless you're looking for trouble LOL.

Quints
  • Greater Quintessence of Cooldown Reduction: With the concept of easily reaching 40% CDR and being able to use skills more frequently early-mid game, this is useful in my opinion. Don't like the idea of having CDR runes? No problem, just take a look below for more options.

Seals

Marks
  • Greater Mark of Magic Penetration: The runes that almost ALL AP champions take with them. It gives flat 7.8 MPen, enabling you to fully burst your enemy down. Recommended especially on LeBlanc. Definitely take these with you.

Glyphs
  • Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction: A great choice for LeBlanc in my opinion as it gives her more opportunities to juke and do trades safely especially giving her a boost to her during early game. It also helps to hit the 40% CDR cap faster! However, if you do not wish to take CDR as your runes, which I can totally understand, look below for more options!

ALTERNATIVES
Runes

Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist

Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power
6

Greater Quintessence of Magic Penetration
1

Quints

Glyphs
  • Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power: I'd recommend you take these scaling AP runes for more damage to harass lane and deal more damage late game.
Good for LeBlanc to roam and deal significant damage too. I would advice not more than 6 of these though, since you lack the CDR runes which will mean you can't dash as much so you would need a lil' more MR.

Glyphs
  • Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist: Since you can't dash as much as taking CDR glyphs, I strongly recommend taking up at least 3 Scaling MR Glyphs for more sustain. You can choose not to, though, if you're confident of dodging enemies's skillshots.

Masteries [ OUTDATED ]

FEROCITY
-
FURY | SORCERY
LeBlanc's damage mostly comes from Abilities and less often than from Basic Attacks so taking Sorcery would help her better in terms of damage.

FRESH BLOOD | FEAST | EXPOSE WEAKNESS
All 3 are good masteries to consider. Let's start with Fresh Blood first! Fresh blood is a viable option to choose if you are able to use your basic attacks to poke in lane or attack with basic attacks. For LeBlanc, this is a great option during the laning phase if you are able to poke with your basic attack safely while farming to push lane towards the enemy's tower.
Now going on to Feast . Feast is a great option for sustain in lane and for survivability after going all in to kill an enemy champion. Take this if you feel that you need more sustain in lane.
Last but not least, Expose Weakness . Many of you might think this is a mastery specifically designed for support champions to take but that's not quite true! This mastery is great in teamfights for letting your ADC or any other teammates who deals tons of damage to shred enemy champions into bits. It doesn't really help LeBlanc out with her laning process, neither does it grant her any more sustainability, but it does help while in team fights! Definitely a pick if you are sure you can have lots of team fights with your team throughout the game!

VAMPIRISM | NATURAL TALENT
Natural Talent gives more damage and Vampirism gives more sustain! In my opinion, putting 3 points into Natural Talent and 2 into Vampirism gives LeBlanc more sustainability while still providing sufficient damage for her to still burst down enemy champions as fast.

BOUNTY HUNTER | DOUBLE EDGED SWORD | BATTLE TRANCE
First, let's start with Bounty Hunter . Bounty Hunter can be a safe alternative, however, I don't think it is worth it. By the time you kill all 5 enemy champions, WHICH IS UNLIKELY IN GENERAL unless you're just dominating the game and taking all the kills, it will probably be mid-late game anyways. You only get 2% increased damage, which isn't a lot in the long run, but all game, you've missed out on damage UNTIL you have gotten the kills. What happens if you don't get kills? You don't get any % damage. It can be a safe alternative but isn't reliable unless you KNOW you can somehow kill all 5 champions within a reasonable amount of time (like in URF or something). -credits: @ LuxTheGreyWarden
Moving on to Double Edged Sword ... This is always the perfect option for LeBlanc as it gives you 3% more damage to ALL units! With your sneaky ambushes and escaping techniques, the 1.5% increased damage you will be taking after picking this mastery should not be a problem for you at all! ☆⌒(ゝ。∂) hehe~
Last but not least, Battle Trance ! I would unfortunately, rather not take this on a LeBlanc as she is not supposed to stay in enemies's range for a long period of time as she WILL be deleted. (LOL, she has no tank) Either she secures a kill in a short amount of time or BACK THE EFF OFF! ...unless you wanna suicide or something cuz the enemy duelist would probably shred you slowly but surely if you stay there long enough. (no hate but really she has NO tank at all)

CUNNING
-
WANDERER | SAVAGERY
Wanderer helps to get you around the map swiftly to have a more efficient roam while Savagery helps you A LOT especially if you have trouble landing last hits on minions which will help in your gold income... (I chose this because I... uhh have trouble with that so... but... DON'T JUDGE pls >.<)

RUNIC AFFINITY | SECRET STASH | ASSASSIN
I like Secret Stash because it gives you health and mana instantly upon consumption, plus your potions last 10% longer! Most times, I buy a Refillable Potion during mid game and team fights for more sustainability within the team fights, so having even more health come from these potions due to Secret Stash is really helpful. This also gives you an extra 60 health in your first laning phase. This is a sustainability mastery. -credits: @ LuxTheGreyWarden (I really like her guide and explanations!!)
Assassin gives 2% more damage when no allies are near you which gives you more strength to push lane towards your enemy which can also give you more opportunity to leave your lane to gank others while the lane is pushed.
Runic Affinity isn't really the best choice to pick in Solo-Q as your jungler may not be the nicest guy to give you a blue/red buff, neither will most like the idea of getting one for yourself so I suggest NOT taking this unless you're queuing with your friend who is going as jungle. No Buffs = Not This Mastery.

MERCILESS | MEDITATION
In my opinion, I feel that LeBlanc or any other assassins really needs the 3% increase in damage to enemies below 40% hp as they have the burst to get them to below 40% ASAP for this mastery to work. Meditation on the other hand can help in laning phase as you don't encounter as much mana trouble as to when you picked Merciless . It can also let you be more carefree while spamming your skills, knowing that your mana will regen fast enough for you to afford doing that. Picking either one of these is totally personal preference! One for bursting and one for spamming skills, both are equally lethal.

GREENFATHER'S GIFT | BANDIT | DANGEROUS GAME
Well, uhm firstly let's exclude Bandit from our choices for LeBlanc as you will be in Mid Lane where there won't be another ally champion laning with you so this mastery's effect will not be activated. It's for supports only, unfortunately.
Now for the hard choices, Dangerous Game or Greenfather's Gift ?
Dangerous Game gives more sustain in Teamfights or during the Laning phase as it awards you with Mana AND Health after an enemy champion dies (kill/assist). It can save your life!
Greenfather's Gift could also possibly be a good choice for LeBlanc as you could go the ninja style and hide in bushes, waiting for the right moment to ambush people, I'm totally serious, not joking at all cuz this could work and have worked too! But you're risking your sustainability for not taking Dangerous Game for more damage, but it'll be worth if you use bushes a lot!

PRECISION | INTELLIGENCE
I highly recommend to take Intelligence for LeBlanc, especially if you followed my CDR Runes build as it raises the CDR Cap to 45% which enables you to use your skills even more frequently and to deceive people more easily as your Mimic recharges faster! Precision is also a VERY good option to choose from as it gives 6 more MPen at level 18 which can help A LOT late game! Both are great options, if you want to be able to use your skills more frequently or being able to deal more damage.

STORMRAIDER'S SURGE | THUNDERLORD'S DECREE | WINDSPEAKER'S BLESSING
Cheer up! ☆⌒(ゝ。∂) I know all these long phrases of white text is a lil' borish and a pain to read or even start reading... but if you've made it THIS FAR, I want to express my love and gratitude to you and that you, dear reader, would even bother reading my guide and I'm really sorry I'll improve on editing this white piece of text to make it better!
Okay... continuing on the explanations for these 3 masteries!~ So let's start with Stormraider's Surge ! Stormraider's Surge can be super useful for LeBlanc as it grants her 40% movement speed and 75% slow reduction for 3 seconds after dealing 30% of enemy's health in 2.5 seconds. This can be a rush to do as you will need to proc your Sigil of Malice ASAP right after you mark it and just throw whatever you have at the enemy and RUN! (the point of picking this mastery). This will work on LeBlanc and it gives her more opportunity to do a "Hit n' Run" type of playstyle and it can really be effective, depending on how fast you are.
Now for Thunderlord's Decree , everyone's favorite pick! This mastery calls down a lightning every 3rd Spell/Basic Attack you throw at a champion and deals AOE Magic Damage to that area! (Damage 10 per level, plus 30% of your Bonus AD and 10% of your AP) Its cooldown is also automatically reduced as you level up! This is personally my choice as it enables you to harass your enemy mid laner even further (which is good and bad), good being you get to push wave towards their tower and bad being higher risk of being ganked... but yeah this is definitely a good pick!
Last but not least, we have the Windspeaker's Blessing which is straight NOT RECOMMENDED for LeBlanc as she does not have any form of shield nor heal so please don't take this mastery as it will go to waste. Pick Stormraider's Surge or Thunderlord's Decree instead!

Champion Abilities
-
Sigil of Malice (Passive) Enhances next ability’s damage on those who were hit by your other damaging abilities. Striking any unit with any of your skills causes them to be marked with Sigil of Malice for a short period of time. The mark takes 1.5s to cook up, ready to be detonated with any of your abilities again, dealing 40-300. Sigil of Malice cannot occur again on the same unit for 5 seconds.

Shatter Orb (Q) LeBlanc projects an orb that will proc and chain to other ready nearby Sigil of Malices. LeBlanc projects an orb that will deal more damage to units marked with ready Sigil of Malice and will deal even greater damage to minions.

Distortion (W) LeBlanc dashes to the target spot while leaving a return pad which she can return to it by reactivating this skill. LeBlanc dashes towards your cursor’s spot, dealing AOE damage to enemy units nearby while marking them with Sigil of Malice. You can also reactivate this skill again to return back to her original spot after a 0.5s cooldown.

Ethereal Chains (E) LeBlanc flings an illusionary chain towards a target direction and rooting them after 1.5s. LeBlanc flings a chain that marks the enemy unit it touches with Sigil of Malice and will root enemy units to the spot and dealing additional damage if they stay within the radius of the chains connected to them after 1.5s. This also automatically procs Sigil of Malice without having the need to recast another ability to proc it.

Mimic (R1 - Toggle) LeBlanc can cast any of her abilities with no cost while invoking shadow of the rose. LeBlanc can instantly cast/recast any of her abilities once while spawning a clone which lasts 2.5s randomly around her, which deals additional damage to enemies hit and will not cost any mana. (it does not reset/reduce original skill’s cooldown)

Mimic (R2 - Toggle) LeBlanc can cast a Mimic of her Globally, invoking a shadow of the rose which will make its way to the nearest enemy champion in sight. LeBlanc can cast an uncontrollable shadow of the rose anywhere in the map which will make its way to the nearest enemy champion that is in sight and cast a fake spell that LeBlanc last used before spawning the mimic which deals no damage to the enemy champion.

Combos
-
Firstly, I want to explain how LeBlanc's skills work.
In my honest opinion, I truly feel that LeBlanc's skills are definitely situational on when to level them, when to use them and when to combo them. When you are playing as LeBlanc, you definitely DO NOT have to follow strictly to these few combos I provide below at all. In fact, as you get familiar to LeBlanc's kit, you will realise you can actually change and make up YOUR OWN combos to counter your opponents by YOUR WAY!
HERE ARE THE HOLY COMBOS(not really)

AA ➛ Shatter Orb ➛ AA
-VIDEO TO BE UPLOADED-
☆⌒(≧▽° ) This is a poking technique used by LeBlanc players if they're low on mana or Distortion is down or not acquired yet.
Distortion ➛ AA ➛ Shatter Orb
-VIDEO TO BE UPLOADED-
☆⌒(≧▽° ) This is another poking technique used by LeBlanc players to farm minions while damaging enemy champions. High cost of mana though, use sparingly.
Distortion Ethereal Chains ➛ AA
-VIDEO TO BE UPLOADED-
☆⌒(≧▽° ) This is a great combo to use to plunge their hp down to at least 75% just by doing this! Use this especially if your jungler is coming in for a gank at your lane! The stun will enable you and your jungler to deal loads of damage to the enemy champion!
Shatter Orb ➛ AA ➛ Mimic Shatter Orb
-VIDEO TO BE UPLOADED-
☆⌒(≧▽° ) This is a great combo to make squishes cry out to their supports as it deals TONS of damage!! Credits to your Sigil of Malice!
Shatter Orb/ Distortion Ethereal Chains Mimic Ethereal Chains
-VIDEO TO BE UPLOADED-
☆⌒(≧▽° ) MAXIUMUM DAMAGE (I think...?) and perma root! Enough time for you and your ally to slaughter an enemy champion if you manage to land all your chains!
Distortion Mimic Distortion
-VIDEO TO BE UPLOADED-
☆⌒(≧▽° ) This is a common yet effective combo to use when escaping your enemies! When you do 2 Distortions, you should be able to distance yourself far enough from your chasing enemies! Should they somehow, be able to catch up to you, your shadow of the rose should be able to confuse them for a brief moment before they realise that they're fooled, and by then, it's already too late cuz you should have made your escape! This could even make them burn their flash just making themselves think that they can catch up to you! Oh joy~ Have fun spamming your "laugh" command while running away!~ (Even if you don't, your mimic will do it for you! XD)

TL;DR: I'm pretty sure these are just some common, simple and a minority of combos that can be used by LeBlanc's kit! Be creative, have an open mind and if you think of anything else let me know in the comments section! I will be glad to add in to this section of the guide and give credits to you! (of course!)

Items [ OUTDATED ]
-
Starting Items

DORAN'S RING | HEALTH POTION (x2) | WARDING TOTEM
You WILL want to get ALL 3 items as your starting items for all 3 guides, Roaming/against AD/against AP as Doran's Ring provides you with sufficient AP, Health, Base Mana Regen and grants you a lil' mana everytime a unit is killed! Taking 2 health potions is sufficient to last you till the first back and taking it is VERY important for sustain!
First Back (Roaming Build)

THE DARK SEAL | BOOTS OF SPEED | CONTROL WARD
Like I mentioned earlier in the guide (if you've read the notes), The Dark Seal is an important item as you should be able to get Assists / Kills when you roam. Boots are a great way to get around the map quickly. Control wards are optional, however, if you have spare gold, get a control ward. It helps to keep an eye for what's lurking in the jungle to watch out for roams so you have enough time to back away from harm. Please also don't forget to buy potions if you find the need to help you have more sustain! Please DO NOT USE THIS BUILD (Roaming Build) if you are not getting average kills or assist or in situations where you are forced to stay in your lane. Use (Against AD)/(Against AP) builds instead!

First Back (Against AP/AD Builds)
AP> <AP | AD> <AD
NULL-MAGIC MANTLE | REFILLABLE POTION | CONTROL WARD
Using "Against AP"/"Against AD" builds help you to better sustain in lane based on the kind of damage your opponent deals. These 2 builds are also meant for LeBlanc to stay in lane for a longer period of time and lesser roaming (but not none at all!). Please DO NOT USE these 2 builds for opponents like Katarina, Yasuo, Syndra, Heimerdinger and champions with oppressive wave clear! You should definitely get mantle or armor if you are going for this "Against AP/AD" build and take either a Refillable Potion with you if you think you're gonna rely on potions for an extended period of time or just go with a small amount of Health Potions to help you sustain in lane. Control wards are still optional with these 2 builds.
Core Items

MORELLONOMICON | LUDEN'S ECHO | VOID STAFF
These 3 items are the items that you should aim to finish ASAP regardless which build you chose to follow (Roaming/Against AP/AP). Morellonomicon would help LeBlanc GREATLY in terms of mana as she has issues in that area and that would enable her to juke and sustain in terms of mana longer! Luden's Echo boost LeBlanc's AP massively and gives her a boost in movement speed, which can really help her kite! Definitely an item that I would rush. If you find your enemies building MR, please build Void Staff ASAP! Probably rush this item right after you finish Morellonomicon and complete Luden's after.
Final Build (Please Read!)
OR
SORCERER'S SHOES | MORELLONOMICON | LUDEN'S ECHO | VOID STAFF | GUARDIAN ANGEL |
ZHONYA'S HOURGLASS OR ABYSSAL SCEPTER

Sorcerer's Shoes is my pick as they provide 15MPen for more damage, plus 7.8 we get from our runes, we'll be doing some amazing damage!
Morellonomicon, Luden's Echo and Void Staff explained in the "Core Items" section above this!
As for Guardian Angel, I will want to take this before Zhonya's Hourglass if my team is reliable and will come to my rescue during the statis effect of the Guardian Angel so I know that it won't go to waste, even if I don't want to use its effect. **NOTE: This description may change due to patch 7.8/7.9(Mid Season) as this item will be REWORKED.
Zhonya's Hourglass should be taken on both "ROAMING BUILD" and "AGAINST AD BUILD" as they provide Armor against AD and a statis effect in cases where your life is on the line while roaming, it will come in handy.
Abyssal Mask is what you should take over Zhonya's when building on "AGAINST AP BUILD" as it gives you MR and a sweet passive that provides you to have an aura that causes nearby enemy champions around you to take 10% more Magic Damage!
Situational Items

MEJAI'S SOULSTEALER | SHOES | HEXTECH GUNBLADE | LIANDRY'S TORMENT | RABADON'S DEATHCAP | LICH BANE | ZZ'ROT PORTAL
Completing The Dark Seal by upgrading it into a Mejai's is a risky choice as people will target you first once they see you having this item! But no pain, no gain, they say. Only buy this if you have lots of stacks on The Dark Seal. If not, just sell dark seal away and buy standard items. Just remember to stay with your team and as much as possible, don't die.
Get a Mercury's Treads if the enemy team has LOADS of CC that will counter you hard.
Pick up Ninja Tabi if the team's damage mostly comes from AD dealers.
Hextech Gunblade seems to be the hype with LeBlanc now. I've never really tried a Gunblade on LeBlanc myself but it seems to have worked on Pro players so I guess you can try this item out if you are curious! Let me know in the comments about how it went!
Liandry's Torment can be used to replace Luden's Echo if desired as it does more damage to enemies than taking Luden's with MPen and if you do not need the speed boost from Luden's (according to @ LuxTheGreyWarden).
Rabadon's Deathcap is a very good item to consider taking as it SIGNIFICANTLY increases your AP which will let you deal A LOT MORE damage to your enemies! If you feel that you do not need as much MR or Armor or the statis effect from Zhonya's Hourglass or Guardian Angel than you need AP, take this instead to boost your overall AP by a HUGEEEEE amount!
Lich Bane is a powerful item but it is also dangerous as you, LeBlanc, is super squishy and you wouldn't wanna linger around the enemy champions for TOO long as it could risk your life. If you feel that you can actually use this item to its full ability then go ahead! After all, LeBlanc is a great escaper! I'm open to any possible ideas! :)
For Zz'Rot Portal, uhmm... I would definitely suggest taking this item if your team seems to have fallen apart but if there is still hope, split push and get this item to push the lane and blow their towers into bits! Not a great item to get during a cooperative team and teams who do great teamfights but possibly useful when hope is lost.

Outroduction
In conclusion, I think that you should just do you and play the character however you want it to! Cast criticism away, ignore judgements from others and know that as you practice, you will slowly but surely improve just like how I did. LeBlanc is NOT an easy champion to play, needless to say, even master! Just have fun on the rift and enjoy playing her! If you find that you dislike her playstyle, dislike her skills, dislike the way she works then you should find another champion you really love to play and spend hours practicing! It's no point practicing and maybe mastering something you dislike, the one at loss at the end of the day is no one but yourself. Once again, I'd like to thank everyone that has made it to this point of the guide and I appreciate the time and effort you put in to read my guide, I feel superrrrrrrrr honoured and I really hope you can leave a comment on points that you like about this first guide I've EVER made and points which I can improve. Also, feel free to leave personal comments in the comments section! I'd be more than happy to read every single one of the comments there!
Thank you so much once again guys for reading this guide and happy juking~! ☆⌒(ゝ。∂)-
