Hey, thanks for clicking on my guide! I am SirDeRp, a Teemo main from OCE, with 260 000 Mastery Points on Teemo under my belt with a 56% win-rate as Teemo and a 3.87 KDA. Although I'm not a pro, I think I know enough to be able to teach you guys the basics of Teemo and help any beginners further develop their understanding for this champion. Teemo is EXTREMELY simple and in many ways 1 Dimensional, making him an extremely good champion to play if you are new to the game, by playing him you can focus on the basics of lane phase while paying absolutely no attention to mechanics, thus improving your overall performance. Macro > Micro. P.S. Feel free to add me if you're from OCE, my username is; SirDeRp. |
For most people, the champion Teemo is like a human centipede form of Aids, cancer, and type 1 diabetes combined. The point of playing Teemo is not winning nor losing. But rather to make sure everyone suffers for the rest of the game, and winning through the harvest of Many disconnected opponents. In this guide I will show you all the dirty tricks every good Teemo main must know...
ABOUT:If Teemo stands still and takes no actions for a short duration, he becomes Invisible indefinitely. If he's in brush, Teemo can enter and maintain his Invisibility while moving. After leaving Invisibility, Teemo gains the Element of Surprise, increasing his Attack Speed for 3 seconds. TIP#1: Before minions spawn, hide in brush or stand still in lane, when your opponent appears, be sure to give em a few Toxic Shot's. Becuase of the increase in attack speed, you are able to with most level 1 trades with correct use Guerrilla Warfare. TIP#2: Consider lane opponent and opposing jungler. Champions such as Kayle Master Yi Udyr and Quinn who have no real Area Of Effect damage will never be able to hit Teemo when he is under the effects of Guerrilla Warfare So Teemo can simply hide in the brush without ever being harmed. Champions with forms of Area Of Effect such as Zed Brand and Pantheon can harm Teemo if they successfully hit Teemo with spells. Carefully consider the matchups before making a run for the brush! NOTE: Displacement abilities such as Riven's Broken Wing's third cast or Draven's E Stand Aside can reveal Teemo if they hit him. NOTE: Control Wards and Stealth Wards are UNABLE to reveal Teemoin Guerrilla Warfare. However, Sweeping Lens can detect the location of Teemo while he is under the influence of Guerrilla Warfare. |
ABOUT: Obscures an enemy's vision with a powerful venom, dealing damage to the target unit and blinding it for the duration. |
BLIND: Blind is a form of crowd control, targets under the influence of Blind will continue to miss all Basic Attacks until the duration of Blind ends. NOTE Targets under the effect of blind will still be able to cast Spells and Abilities TIP#1: To maximise the overall effect of Blinding Dart attempt to Blind a target the second before their Basic Attack hits. TIP#2: The affects of Blinding Dart also applies to 'Enhanced Basic Attacks' such as Garens Q Decisive Strike and Yoricks Q Last Rites. TIP#3: Teemos only animation cancel consists of 1. Basic Attack 2. Blinding Dart 3. Basic Attack. This combo is Teemos BREAD AND BUTTER, used in quick trades or to burst a target quickly. |
ABOUT: Teemo scampers around, passively increasing his Movement Speed until he is struck by an enemy champion or turret. Teemo can sprint to gain bonus Movement Speed that isn't stopped by being struck for a short time. Passive: Teemo's Movement Speed is increased by 10/14/18/22/26% unless he has been damaged by an enemy champion or turret in the last 5 seconds. Active: Teemo sprints, gaining twice his normal bonus for 3 seconds. This bonus is not lost when struck. |
TIP#1: Use Move Quick to get to lane faster, chasing, or escaping.
ABOUT: TeemoTosses a stored mushroom as a trap that detonates if an enemy steps on it, spreading poison to nearby enemies and reducing their Movement Speed by 30/40/50%, reveals them and deals 200/325/450 (+50% Ability Power) magic damage over 4 seconds. Traps last 5 minutes and take 1 second to arm and stealth. If a thrown trap lands on another trap, it will bounce up to 3/4/5 Teemos further before planting. Teemo forages for a mushroom every 0 seconds, but he is only big enough to carry 3 at once. This my friend, is what Teemo is known for, SATAN's ultimate ability. TIP#1: Avoid carrying 3 Noxious Traps on Teemo at all times, time is shrooms. At 3 Charges Noxious Traps cease to generate, you need to be placing shrooms whenever and wherever possible. TIP#2: Noxious Trap is an extremely effective form of waveclear. TIP#3: Place Noxious Trap down on location where enemy laner would be when he Teleports to lane (MAKE SURE THE GET THE TIMING RIGHT Teleport IS A FOUR SECOND CHANNEL) TIP#4: Throw Noxious Trap on a minion the enemy laner is near. TIP#5: Noxious Trap are used commonly be Teemo players as an effective form of warding, or sometimes placed in a pattern that causes the enemy to step onto the Noxious Trap when trading with Teemo. Keep in mind Noxious Trap's damage does not stack, enemies that step on multiple Noxious Traps only end up refreshing the 4-second effect that it has, therefore it is important to space out the Noxious Traps out so that each Noxious Trap can deal maximum damage before another trap is triggered. |
A PERSONALLY MADE SHROOM PLACEMENT MAP IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION (sorry for the inconvenience)
SHROOMING TECHIQUES
#1 - Something I love doing that enemies NEVER Expect. Shroom Behind existing enemy turrets (right in between the two turrets top and bottom of the lane) That was you don't have to tower dive weak enemies. Simply just make them Think you are going to tower dive them. #2 - Take the lane with blue buff (if possible, sometimes you simply can't, due to team comp). Why? Because the enemy side (the side with golems) is a great place to shroom. It is narrow and restrictive movement, in addition it helps prevent ganking of your lane. #3 - If the enemy team is buying oracles, either to preventing allied stealth player or to kill your shrooms, place your shrooms in the grass at the edge so they walk into them before they get the chance to kill them. #4 - Don't place shrooms to close together, otherwise they just lose effectiveness. Though the same thing could possibly be said about being too far apart. If the "Shroom field" is at the right density an enemy could be enticed to continue walking through what they don't know to be their certain death till it is too late. #5 - if you find yourself getting pushed back a lot don't try to keep shrooms everywhere. If your fearful of being tower dived place shrooms in the area of the tower (not in front unless you wish to hit minions). Place in the jungle exits too encase an enemy does tower dive you, they will more than likely die trying to escape. #6 - [End Game Losing] if your losing, why not try and make the best of it and pick up a kill or two at the end. For those ones who like to Nexus Dive at the very end of the game place 2 shrooms ever so slightly at the edge of the nexus tower's range thus slowing them and picking up the kill in the process. |
Because Teemo doesn't bring too much to the team in terms of team fights, another viable option is to split push, Teemo is a great splitpusher because of his attack speed and ap on-hit which also applies to towers. Correct shroom placements will allow you to splitpush safely without getting caught. Split pushing forces the enemy team to apply presence in the lane in which you are pushing, creating opportunities for you team to obtain objectives. If you are ahead, enemy teams will have to send 2 or more members which is a huge help to the rest of your team, creating openings for possible 4 v 3. I myself am no expert at this method, so I recommend watching some videos online on how to splitpush effectively.
Your Noxious Trap is going to be the God Ward of the Late game, so place them in key locations where the Players won't go, and use them as vision.
