+10 Adaptive (6 AD or 10 AP)
+15-90 HP (lvls 1-18)
Threats & Synergies
All you really do is try to harass him early game. And never try to 1vs1 him late game, because he will delete you.
Dodge his Q whenever he tries to use it for wave-clear (If he use it). Try to dodge his smoke + R. Be careful of ganks.
Try to "bait out" her R, without it she and the adc is very vulnerable, whenever she uses it back off for a bit, wait for her R to run out and then do your all-in with you Support, that way Kayle won't have another way to save herself or her adc therefore you should be able to pick up a kill or two.
Yasuo against Kai'Sa shouldnt be super hard. Many people play him but just poke him down and if he tries to trade with you just use ur Q and you will be okay :)
Doesn't have too much damage or range pre-6 so take advantage of that. After level 6 he gains big boost in range with his ult so be careful of that.
He has CC and can do a ton of damage with his Adc if you are not careful.
Try to bait out her spellshield or she will block your E. Should be otherwise quite an easy matchup just dodge her Q poke. Take short trade.
Not many people play Heimer adc, But if you face one. take care of his turrets and he wont be able to do anything. Dodge his stun or you might possibly die because of it.
This Support isnt played very often but could still be a serious treat. He can silence you which will keep you from using ur abilities + he has stun, So be careful!
Be safe of his fourth bullet. Besides Jhin's good laning phase and utility, he is very weak late-game. Just make sure to avoid his skill-shots (DONT GET SNARED!) and hit your own, while keeping your farm up to your first powerspike. Late game you destroy him 1v1 because of your AS, Crit and LS. He'll be dead before even having hit you with his 4th shot.
Don't take long trade.
Try to avoid his Q's to ur best ability. Same goes for his R, try to avoid it. A Varus without his ult (R) is very vulnerable, Take advantage of that.
Try to dodge his rockets.
Avoid her Q bouncing from a minion to you. You should be able to win her but if she hit's her ult on you for couple of seconds you probably will die. Care of her ultimate on team fight.
Easy matchup, trade whenever she doesn't have her shield.
Stay out of her W range.
Dodge his E to ur best ability and be careful of his lvl 6 spike.
This Support isnt played very often but could still be a serious treat. The only best tip against this support is to try to dodge the R.
Whenever you see him moving forward, try to not be in his E range. Whenever you trade with him and the ADC and he R's, then back off.
Do not get stunned by (E). And take help from the jungler if its really hard.
Vayne Can be annoying after 6 with her stealth. However you can beat her if you can root her when she comes out of stealth and burst her there.
Can be a really annoying champion to face. Try to avoid her Q's and E's to ur best ability. Take advantage of her abilities being on cd. Focus more on her rather then the Adc because she will just heal the Adc. Get Mortal Reminder and it will be easier. :)
Try to stay far of your minions and his Q spell.
Don't get caught by her and the support. Annoying poke when you attempt to escape with her Q, also annoying range with her W and its slow is quite annoying at the same time. Her E will also be able to stun you so with a threatening support like Alistar or Thresh, you might die if you get caught by it.
Try to dodge his Q's to ur best ability. Try not to let him get his 3 passive proc's since it will stun you. Be careful of his lvl 6 spike (Ult). And ask jungler for ganks if in deep trouble against this matchup.
Avoid mushrooms, try if possible to indicate with pings where possible mushrooms could be, that way you can dodge them and u wont get the harass damage from Teemo. Beware of his Q and the poison damage it will do.
Try to fight them before Zilean 6.
Has cc which cripples you pretty badly after 6. Try to dodge her ult with yours and avoid getting hit by her w as it can lead you to a bad spot since you are pretty immobile.
Annoying poke and you can't really outdamage him early. Just farm up and see if your supp or jungler can get a good engage on the enemy.
Annoying with her poke but you should win her if you can CC her as otherwise she will just jump away. Carefull of her bomb burst.
Possibly quite threatening as he has a lot of CC and you are immobile. Try to stay out of his range and only go in if you are confident you can kill their ADC before they can finish you off. Stay out of his combo range.
Just do your best to dodge his hook and you should be fine. If you however get hooked it might be the end of you if your summoners and ult is down. Don't get Grab !
Avoid her Q's and try not to die from her combo's (Q+E+R). Ask jungler for help if in deep trouble.
Don't try to 1vs1 her.
Has a long range and can poke you quite a lot for free since she outranges you. Farm up and demolish her in teamfights as your teamfight capability is much better than hers. Don't take far trade.
Annie support might be rarely seen, but she can be really annoying with her stuns, which pretty much get you killed if they have enough damage up when she stuns you. She has low range so try to stay away when her stun is up and pay attention when her flash his up.
Stay away of her E range as if she catches you with her stun you are pretty much dead without your summoners and ult.
Her stun and her ult can cause bad things. The stun last a really long time, so make sure to dodge it. Watch her pokes, and target her early game before she tanks.
Has incredible burst damage, can be a serious treat if not taken seriously. Be careful of her lvl 6 since she can turn you into dust in an instant if you are not prepared for it. Ask for ganks from jungler if it is really hard to deal with.
Take care of her slow and W.
Avoid his pulls. Otherwise, he's not a threat. If he tanks, don't target him in team fights.
Stay out of her Q range.
Vel'Koz support is usually always played. His amazing burst and true damage will make botlane a serious treat. Be careful of his lvl 6 and dont try to get hit by his stun (E).
Pretty safe pick, you have to bait his E before you try to kill him as he will otherwise just jump away from your W. Dont let his W hit you or you will get bursted.
Can block your W and your missiles (Q) and make your life miserable with his high-CC kit. Just try to farm up as best as you can and wait for jungler.
Stay out of her feathers, dont get rooted or else you will be in a really bad position.
Using your [E] as much as possible to avoid the snare and extra damage that comes along with it.
Dont get hit by his long ranged Q and try to dodge his E to ur best ability. Try make him "waste" his ultimate or dodge it (somehow).
Don't get grabbed by his Q and try to stop the adc from being able to use Thresh's lantern. One good tip for being able to stop his lantern is if you put a ward on top of it, that way you won't be able to click it, therefore you might be able to get a kill while doing so.
Although his ultimate can drain your health away as well as suppress you, recommend getting Mercurial Scimitar to break off from suppression.
Get's harder as the game goes on. Try to CC him so he can't catch his axes. Don't take long trades with him as he will outtrade you with his axes. Highly adviced to ask for ganks.
Careful to her lvl 6 on lane. Dodges your root and your feathers very easily with her quto attack quick jump, try catch her out and follow her positioning.
Alistar is an ideal champion because of the fact that he has a decent amount of CC (like Braum has). He has both his (W) + (Q) to be able to knockup any champion which will make it easy for you to position yourself in order for a kill potential. His (E) stacks up to 5 times, at the 5th time it will stun the target on his next basic attack. Alistar is also an unbelievable tank together with his (R) that reduces both Physical and Magic damage for the next 7 seconds, making him a super strong tank for teamfights.
Bard is very useless for you unless he knows what he is doing. The only way for you to be able to win your lane with Bard Support is if Bard manages to his a lot of his (Q)'s on the enemy team as it benefits your potential for damage. also making good use of his (W) and (E) for his healing that he puts on the ground or for the good portals, also has an average ultimate that can both stop a player from moving for 2.5 seconds but also stop towers from attacking.
Has a (Q) + (W) used for a lot of damage along with her (W) that both shields her and stacks her passive with 1 stack with each (W) and each (Q) and (E). At 4 stacks she will be able to stun an enemy champion, together with her (R) + you and Tibbers, you will be able to annihilate enemy champions.
Really strong pick in my opinion, not very ideal all of the time but still a good pick. He has a hook (Q) that will take an enemy champion towards blitzcrank upon hit, this together with his (E) is very good for you and your own combos. He also has his (R) that both deals damage and silences the enemies from using any form of spells.
Brand is a strong champion if played correctly. He has his kit of basically trying to deal as much damage as possible. He has a stun that goes active if a champion as already been hit by his (W) and then hit by his (E). If (Q) or (E) is casted first, and then (W), (Q) or (E) then the stun will not commence and instead a circle of fire will come and deal more damage to enemies around them. His (R) is a great ability that is able to bounce to both champions and minions.
Braum is a super ideal champion together with Kai'sa. His super strong CC kit will make your enemies live a complete hell. Has (Q) for poking, his passive stacks 4 times and at the 4th time it will stun the target. He can jump to you with his (E) while also (like most Braum players) use his (W) to shield you from any damage that may come towards you. His amazing knockup (R) will be amazing for both you and your teammates during trades and teamfights.
He is super squishy (especially early game) and cant really do anything at all but to silence with his (E). But otherwise completely useless if hes not able to get a good trade where he can use his (Q) + (E) to peel, but most often even if that the support will be there to stop him from doing so with their CC.
She only has her (W) as her stun, making it hard for you to be able to do the amount of damage that you need on the enemy team. Her (Q) is a decent poking ability together with her (E) that shields you and gives you movement speed. Her (R) boosts her abilities buy a little bit. (like a stronger shield, better Q with more damage or the exact same stun.)
Janna is very squishy, but if you play her right and smart she will still be very ideal. Her (Q) is a knockup tornado that is really amazing for you when going in for trades. Sometimes Janna will go very aggressive with her (W) which is a mini damage + slow, so be careful and only trade when you feel like it will benefit you. She has her (E) which is your amazing shield, if you are about to die then Janna will always be able to shield ur face from death. :) Her (R) is a insta mess up, if you manage to miss a combo or you are about to die (Or janna is about to die) then she can use her (R) which will knock away any enemies around the circle + heal you, her and other teammates in the circle.
Very ideal, her (Q) is a shield making her be able to go in for trades almost at all times. her (W) her way of going in for a trade, if it hits an enemy champion it will root them for 0.5 seconds + her (W) will go through minions. She has her (E) which is a stun that will stun targets making it easier for you to pick up a kill + her (R) that is a stun if it hits a champion if it doesnt hit it will only be a slow.
Lulu is an ideal champion because of the fact of her unique kit. Her (Q) is a poke, she has her (W) which will both give bonus attack speed while cast on an ally but polymorphs for a short duration if cast on an enemy. Her (E) will shield while casted on an ally, but deal magical damage + give true sight if casted on an enemy. She has her (R) which will both heal you up and knockup enemies that are very close to you along with the slow that comes with it.
Lux is not very ideal, she can be strong but not very ideal at all. She does have stun capabilities, slows + shields together with her (Q), (W) + (E). And her (R) being a massive beam of light that does tons of damage. She is still not very viable as she is a super squishy champion that can be focused down easily.
Nautilus is an ideal champion because he has a great CC kit, even if it isnt the best kit it is really good. His (Q) is a sorta 1 second stun if it hits a champion which is really good for trades. He is able to tank a lot of damage together with his (W). He has his (R) which is a guaranteed knockup making it really easy for you to pick up a kill with your combo.
If you know how to play Nami properly she is a complete ideal champion, if your Support is an average Nami player she drops down to being a Strong champion. Her (Q) is a knockup if it hits a champion, making it easy for you to quickly do a combo for tons of damage. her (W) can heal you (Same as if you would have a Soraka) + together with her (E) you will be able to gain three bonus damage auto attacks aswell. Has a great knockup (R) that can be very useful during teamfights.
If done right, very ideal champion. Has stun potential with her (Q) and a bit of damage together with her (W). Her shield (E) will be really beneficial for you if you are facing a match up that has some decent CC. Has a good stun with her (R) making it easier to pick up good trades, aswell as win team-fights.
Very strong ideal champion, has grabbing potential with his (Q), if done right hes able to aim his (Q) towards you in order for you to quickly burst down the target and get a kill. Has (E) that will stun, making it easier again for your combos + the most amazing (R) that can oneshot any champion once they get a Red health bar, giving you gold aswell while Pyke takes the kill if you are in the area.
Very ideal champion, Has CC together with his (W), (Q) heals you both if the ability hits an enemy champion. He is able to go directly to you from pretty far distance with his (E) twice, and of course his charm (R) will make your damage capabilities during trades and teamfights go skyhigh.
Taric is a really ideal champion. He has his (Q) is a small heal for you, his (W) will shield both you and Taric when active, really great when going in for trades together with his (E) which is a stun coming from both you and Taric that will stun upon hitting an enemy champion. He also has his amazing (R) that will upon use make you and Taric invulnerable for the next 2.5 seconds, making Taric an amazing support for teamfights.
Does have his (Q) which deals damage and his (W) to be able to swallow you so that you can escape a trade that went wrong or swallow an enemy to make sure you get the kill in the end. Also has his (E) which makes him sort off a tank for a lil bit. His (R) is completely useless unless used for splitpushing or to quickly access a teamfight.
Soraka is considered Strong for me, she doesnt really "completely" fit in into being an Ideal champion together with Kai'sa, but she is still not a bad support. She has her (E) which is able to Silence your enemies making it a complete hell for them to be able to cast any abilites at all, + being able to get free heals from her (W) will make your poking potential even better.
She is very squishy making it hard for you to be able to survive in lane if the enemy team has a lot of poke + CC. She does have her (Q) for pokes + (E) and (W) which is a heal and movementspeed which is both very beneficial for you. Also has a (R) that will stun enemies, really good for engaging a fight or disengaging a fight.
Very strong champion, not the best or most ideal champion since the latest nerfs. But still a very strong champion. His (Q) is a snare if it manages to hit a champion and he is able to go in with his (Q) after hit and use his (E) to be able to take the enemies towards you. His (W) gives you a lantern which is great for escaping tricky situations and together with his (R) that slows enemies that passes through the edges of it, Thresh will be a really strong force.
Veigar is good if he gets a good early game, if veigar loses early as your support then its pretty much over. He has a stun with his (E) but is very vulnerable without it. Also alot of dmg with his (Q), (W) and (R).
Vel'koz is an ideal support champion because of his kit. He has a (Q) that he can use to damage enemies and apply a stack of his passive, his (W) does more damage and applies more stacks to his passive. He has a knockup (E) which makes it easy for you and your combos. And he has his (R) together with his other abilities to be able to shred champions like crazy.
Great champion, very strong. If able to hit both of his (Q)'s it will stun the enemy. He can both boost you and reduce the enemies speed with his (W), along with his (E) that removes the cooldown on all his abilities (except R). And of course the (R) which is an insta mess up for you.
Zyra is very ideal in my opinion, She is able to snare the enemies with her (E) making it really easy for you to do your own combo for a quick burst of damage and a potential for a kill. Also together with her (R) she will be a dominant force together with you.
Champion Build Guide
The Void RulesBy Fruxo
Hello, I'm Fruxo, and this is my Kai'Sa Guide.
My real name is Timothy, but i don't mind at all if you call me something else. I have been playing League of Legends for a decently long time (started back in Season 4) and finished in Gold 5 in season 7. I'm a Marksman lane main who mainly plays Twitch, Xayah, Kai'Sa, Sivir and Caitlyn but i do play other roles sometimes as well. I have been playing Kai'Sa for a really long time. ( Kai'Sa is one of the three best Marksman champions that i have played) I really love the champion, her abilities, her super unique play style. and so fourth. To me Kai'Sa Is an amazing champion that more people needs to try out. :^)
My Twitch.tv: Fruxo02
+ Very strong Snowball
+ Hybrid ratios on (Q),(W) and (R)
+ High Scaling
+ Really Good Engage / Escape
+ High Mobility
+ Good Duelist
+ Has an amazing shield in late game
Kai'Sa dashes in-and out from combat and she can also peel for herself with her shields, which makes her a great carry champion.
- Doesnt have any CC in her kit.
- Very weak against CC
- Expensive core build
- She needs good positioning
- Killer Instinct won't deal any damage
- Mediocre when behind
It will be really hard to carry if you are facing a heavy CC or hard poking lane like for an example Draven and Braum.
Same as most AD Carries down in the Botlane, Precision and Sorcery is usually the runes that you need to go
Second Skin (Passive): Kai'Sa's basic attacks, Void Seeker and nearby allies immobilizing effects mark enemies with Plasma for 4 seconds, stacking up to 4 times. At 4 Plasma stacks, Kai'Sa's next attack ruptures the target, dealing damage based on target's missing health as bonus magic damage, capped at 400 against monsters.
After you get four plasma stacks on the enemy champion, the fifth attack will rupture this into a bunch of damage based on the target's missing health and your ability power. That means you want to attack the enemy champion as much as you can with your abilities and your auto attacks to get those plasma's on the target quickly so that you can proc a bunch of extra damage, which can sometimes lead to executing your target.
Now as said this passive also lets you upgrade your abilities, this is based on your stats from your items and your stat growth so you need to be getting your core items as quickly as possible so you can upgrade your abilities and become even stronger.
Icathian Rain (Q): Kai'Sa shoots a swarm of missiles that seek out nearby targets. Non-minions take 30% damage from missiles beyond their first. This is your main damage ability, which you will be maxing first for that reason. Great ability otherwise but you can't really control where the rain hits other than just standing near your target/targets.
LIVING WEAPON: Requires 100 bonus attack damage – Icathian Rain fires 10 missiles and deals 100% increased damage against minions below 35% health.
This ability then get's a lot stronger when you upgrade it because the bonus Ad and Ap Ratio goes through the roof, it will also release 12 missiles instead of 6 so it will do a lot more damage.
So of course this is a great ability for single target damage because it will do a big chunk of damage onto that target, and it is also great for last hitting minons, you will therefore want to use it to harrass the enemy champion as much as you can in the laning phase, and to last hit minions.
Void Seeker (W): Kai'Sa shoots a long range missile, marking enemies with her passive, stopping at the first enemy hit, and applying 2 Plasma stacks.
LIVING WEAPON: Requires 100 ability power – Void Seeker applies 3 Plasma and refunds 50% of the cooldown against enemy champions.
The ability does also apply Plasma stacks so it is great to get off that passive damage really really quickly.
Since this ability does apply plasma it is great when combo'd with your Killer Instinct to engage from a very long distance. You can't actually use your ultimate unless there is a champion that is affected by plasma so this is a great way to do it.
Supercharger (E): Kai'Sa briefly increases her movement speed, then increases her attack speed.
LIVING WEAPON: Requires 100% bonus attack speed - Supercharger is upgraded to briefly grant Invisibility.
Your basic attacks will also reduce Supercharger's cooldown by 0.5 seconds so you can use it rather often as long as you are able to auto attack.
When you use this ability properly you will be a lot harder to keep track of because of the invisibility, it is kinda like Vayne's Tumble except you can't use it quite as often, either way it is a great way to reposition yourself in duels or in teamfights so that the enemy champion won't be able to lock you down and delete you.
Killer Instinct (R): Kai'Sa dashes to a target location near an enemy champion with Plasma and shields herself for 3 seconds on cast.
The better part of the ability however is the fact that you can dash onto a target location near an enemy that was recently affected by your plasma, this does have a scaling target range of between 1.500 and 2.500 so it is great to combo this with your (W) ability because if you land it from a long distance you can jump in from a pretty long range.
Of course if you are in the middle of a teamfight, you can always use this to reposition onto squishier targets or just to be granted that amazing shield.
Personally i think maxing Icathian Rain first out of your basic abilities and i feel like it is the way to go as it deals a ton of damage, and it is your main source of damage out of your abilities. Second i would max Supercharger for more attack speed so you can increase your DPS and maximize your damage potential. Lastly max your Void Seeker and of course take those points on your Killer Instinct whenever it is possible.
Doran's Blade is one of the items you usually go when playing Kai'Sa, if you are going for a really aggressive lane. It will give you a decent amount of AD, Health but also Life steal. Doran's Blade is the one item that you usually pick if you are against a matchup that should be significally easy for you, that way together with this item you will do way more damage in the early game. Buying this item, will only leave a spot for one Health Potion and that is it, if you play safe, then just having one potion will be enough.
This item is the other option you can go, mostly used if you are facing a matchup that is really agressive, and you feel like going defensive, also a really good item if you have a Support that isnt usually very aggressive either, like Lulu or Soraka etc. Doran's Shield will regenerate 30 health for you in the time of 10 seconds (based on your missing health, which has a cap on 25%), which will make it very great for laning and/or poking if possible. You will not have the same poking damage as if you went with Doran's Blade but going Doran's Shield is still a very good option.
Health Potion's is a really good item for you, as a ranged Marksman , you will always be in danger every single time by the enemy teams Marksman because he/she will try to poke you down. Health Potion's will give you the necessary health needed in order to survive and maybe get a really clutch kill in the end that you got from just being lucky, and that you can be proud of, it will also make it easier for your Support if you are able to go in for trades whenever your Support does.
Warding Totem is and will always be your first -starting- totem. You will get this item together with your Doran's Blade or Doran's Shield together with the number one Health Potion at the very start of the game. This totem will let you place down wards all around the map, it can stock 2 wards and has a cooldown of 90-120 seconds based on the average level of your team. Try to use your Warding Totem to place wards all around the botlane bushes, (if your Support hasn't done so already). That way you will always be aware when the enemy teams Jungler is preparing to gank you.
Trinkets & Consumables
Control Ward's is really useful for you to be able to keep an eye out in bushes that the Jungler tends to go into in order to prepare a gank. It has five hits before it goes down and it will show any hidden enemy wards while being in the bush. You can stock two Control Ward's at a time of every buy.
You usually tend to buy Farsight Alteration when you enter the late game. Farsight Alteration is really useful to be able to ward places like the Baron pit, Dragon pit, bushes where the enemy team might go into, or other useful places. It has one use before going on cooldown and it has only one hit before going down.
Pretty self-explanatory, you buy Elixir of Wrath lastly once you have maximum items, it gives you 30 Attack damage and a buff that will heal you whenever you deal physical damage to a champion, will last for 3 minutes.
Also pretty self-explanatory, you buy Elixir of Sorcery lastly once you have maximum items and you dont feel like going Elixir of Wrath (since you can go both because you are playing hybrid Kai'Sa), it gives you 50 Ability power, some mana regeneration per 5 seconds, and a buff that will let you do 25 bonus true damage to an enemy champion or turret which will last for 3 minutes.
Very strong item on Kai'Sa after the changes to her on-hit passive. Allows you to get a lot of on-hit damage (A whole whopping 15 magic damage) and also evolve your Supercharger really fast. It grants 6.5-15% total armor and magic penetration which is scaling with your level.
Pretty standard boots for ADC's. Gives you attack speed and movespeed. In some cases you can substitute for Ninja Tabi but in my opinion this is important for your DPS especially early.
I really like Nashor's Tooth because it gives you a ton of attack speed which is great for Kai'Sa. But it also gives you the AP needed to evolve Void Seeker. That way if you are really having a hard game and in need of a Maw of Malmortius or a Lord Dominik's Regards, you can quickly just remove Rabadon's Deathcap, put in ur situational item such as Guardian Angel, Mortal Reminder or Mercurial Scimitar. And it wont remove your evolved Void Seeker.
Stormrazor is in the new meta for alot of ADC champions at the minute. In my own opinion i really like the item, it gives you alot of damage potential + Your first auto attack in a time of 2.31-0.38 seconds will critically hit your target.
I personally think this item is really good on her, as it is relatively cheap, gives her lot's of attack speed and overall increases your DPS a good amount since you are throwing 3 autos instead of 1. Also it gives you more damage.
Pretty simple item to talk about. Rabadon's Deathcap gives you a ton of AP, mostly an item for late game. In this case you can switch it out for other options like Guardian Angel or even Mercurial Scimitar. But if you are going a hybrid Kai'Sa build then Rabadon's Deathcap is for you.
Good item to get if enemy AP carries/carry is fed and you can't avoid their damage.
Gives nice amount of damage and also gives you some sustain after the shield procs.
Helps really a lot dealing with tanks especially late game where they have 4-4.5k HP.
Really good item if the enemy team has a lot of AP, it will give you some magic resist, although it isn't a lot and if you get a magic resist item it will be better but Mercury's Treads will give you the necessary magic resist in order to survive those AP champions a bit longer.
Good item if you are facing a lot of healing in the opposing team. Especially if the enemy team has a Soraka or Dr. Mundo. Helps you kill them faster and also gives you armor pen which is always nice.
Guardian Angel helps really a lot especially if you are getting focused down in fights which in most cases happens. It will save you once from death and revive you to fight in the team-fight once more, after that it will go back on cooldown. Really helpful if you are insecure whether or not you will die or not during a team-fight.
Really decent item in my opinion. It gives you a one time use which will remove all crowd control debuffs from your champion and it will give you 50% movement speed for 1 second. Then it will go on cooldown for 90 seconds. Could be a complete life saver in a teamfight if you got hit by a stun in the start of the teamfight but then use ur Mercurial Scimitar to be able to possibly save the day for your team.
Pushing the wave unintentionally is going to be a large reason you need to be careful using her (Q) all pre game long, also actively look to avoid unfavorable trades because if you are agressed on you should quicky evaluate if you can return some damage back. Even if you are low HP, putting some damage onto enemies put them at risk of your jungler to gank and as Kai'Sa you have a pretty good follow-up as well.
In an ideal trade scenario you would want to land your (W) to apply the plasma debuff and deal damage, the reveal effect of the spell also negates any bush advantage your target will have. Follow-up with your (E) and attempt to reposition yourself to be able to use your (Q) effectively and to dodge some skill shots. You will want to be close enough to chain auto attacks with the buff aswell.
The final part of the most ideal trade would be to use your (Q) and land all of your missiles onto one target. You should be looking to farm up to get yourself ready fo the Mid and Late game since most of your power will come in those stages of the game, when you have more items and your abilities are evolved. Don't just roll over in the Pre game, you are fully capable of following up on good plays made by your Support with your abilities. You will have to play a bunch of games with Kai'Sa to be able to learn her flow and to be able to apply all of your prior Ad carry knowledge to make the learning curve seemless.
After the Pre game and when Kai'Sa has a few items she starts to become very deadly because of her abilities to find isolated targets inside lanes and assasinate them. This means that you will need to actively find fights where you can win, because you can force them. In these isolated fights it is very key to use your abilities in a particular way.
Your (Q) should be used so that most of the missiles will hit one target, your (W) should be ideally used to initiate and your (E) should be used to dodge abilities and reposition, and of course you want to use your (R) so that you actually take advantage of the shield and possible the mobility to dodge a spell.
I think Kai'Sa is an amazing champion, super fun to play. Maybe a little tricky to learn at first, although it shouldn't be that hard to master. Practice gives Results. :) And with that note, this concludes my Kai'Sa guide, i hope you will like!
