Choose Champion Build:

Double Cannon, Double Invul Bu
-
AD Off Tank
Intro
Anyways I am here to talk about

I mostly play Bottom Lane A.P Kayle. I use what I recently thought of. I call it the "Double Cannon, Double Invulnerability" build. The Double Invulnerability Part is the
Wooglet's Witchcap and Kayle's Ultimate
Intervention. The Double Cannon comes from
Reckoning and the
Hextech Gunblade.
At maximum build I get about 400 ability power.
Reckoning hits for around 600 damage because of that. With Black Fire Torch Reckoning does more and this is why I call it the "main cannon". the
Hextech Gunblade does another 250 or so damage to the enemy.
My cool down is at maximum with this build.
Intervention only takes about 15 seconds to cool down. My
Wooglet's Witchcap is about 55 seconds and my
Hextech Gunblade is at 15 seconds thanks to my Attack Speed.
If that does not kill them.. My
Righteous Fury hits for about 300 a hit at 1.3 Attack speed. It's cool down is so low that I only have a 1 second cool down. I am using it every chance I get.
Why
Malady? Malady adds Magic damage to your attacks based on ability power.
Spellsword
in your masteries enhances this further.
Malady also gives you the attack speed you need plus even more Magic Resist shredding capabilities. This item makes it so you don't need the
Void Staff when you stack it with everything else.
Spirit Visage is another core item. If you look at it's stats the 20% Cooldown IS NOT UNIQUE. This means it will stack with
Blackfire Torch. In addition it enhances the life steal that you get from the
Hextech Gunblade. It is essential for your survival.
Why
Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist instead of more ability power? The reason is simple. At maximum build you will only have 2.6 K H.P. That is not a lot. That is why I have the
Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist and
Seal of Scaling Armor. This build will have roughly 140 armor and magic resist. It makes you a durable caster and gives you a chance to not use the
Wooglet's Witchcap or the ultimate so you can save it for a later battle.

Why

As I said in the notes I rarely play this build. I do however know how to play it if I am forced to do it. This build has a lot more defense then the A.P Build while still achieving over 300 damage. It is similar to the AP build.
In this build you will have around 3K HP. Again it is not a lot.. However you have a lot more armor in this build. At max build you will have about 180 armor and 150 magic resist plus a 400 damage Magic Absorbing Shield.
On the offense you will do enough damage to kill or cause serious harm to them.
In this build you can swap out
Infinity Edge for
Executioner's Calling. This will cause your auto attack to reduce healing by 50% which is great for
Dr. Mundo who is based on heals (and others like
Dr. Mundo).
Why
Executioner's Calling? Think about it. You have a Team so use Kayle's support side to win the battle as a group rather then solo.
Black Cleaver will reduce their armor by 25%. This will allow you and your team mate(s) to do more damage to the enemy. When you add in
Executioner's Calling this adds to their problems. Their Life Steal/Spell Vamp or Heal has been reduced by 50%. It is a double whammy.
The other great thing about this build is
Randuin's Omen. If you find yourself in a 1v2
Randuin's Omen will save you. It will slow their attack and movement speed down to give you a chance to kill or run. Or in a group situation it will reduce the amount of times your team gets attacked.
If you have
Executioner's Calling,
Randuin's Omen and The
Black Cleaver the enemy that you targeted will have their armor reduced by 25%, healing reduced by 50%, and their attack speed and movement speed reduced. Talk about screwed!

The other great thing about this build is

If you have

Both builds will use
Reckoning and
Righteous Fury when going in for the kill. It will also require you to be aware of your team, and the battle. You may have to use
Intervention (your ultimate) on a team mate. The same goes with
Divine Blessing.
Divine Blessing gives movement speed as well as healing a small portion of damage. If you know how another champion builds you can figure out who it's best to give to. For example I know
Teemo and
Singed are fast so I give
Divine Blessing to them when it comes to chasing down a single enemy.
Divine Blessing and
Reckoning can also be used for defensive purposes. You can use
Divine Blessing to give your team mate movement speed to run away from a battle (to save their life), while using Reckoning to slow down the enemy champion that is chasing your team mate.
Divine Blessing,
Reckoning and
Intervention can save a team mate or yourself when used in the right combination.
Some of the time you may not need to use all of your skills to help a team mate. In a 3v3 my favorite tactic is to use a team mate for tower diving. I give them my ultimate, let them dive and kill then run into the bushes above the second tower on bottom to break the tower lock.
In a stand up fight the tower method still applies. You can have a team mate stand his ground and fight to the death. Give them
Intervention, turn on
Righteous Fury and kill the enemy before
Intervention wears out.
If Intervention is about to wear out and the enemy is not dead give them Divine Blessing and bail them out.
In some fights you may not need to use Reckoning. If your team mate has a slow let them use it. Only use Reckoning when the spell runs out. Spend the time using Righteous Fury to wear them down.

I think I have shown how versatile Kayle is. She is a good AP or AD Carry Support. She can chase down enemies and kill them by herself. In team fights she is a great support while still doing a lot of damage.
Her build may be easy to figure out however it does require you to be aware of the game, and ontop of your keys (Q,W,E,R,1,2). This can be a challenge for new players. It will get easier over time though. When you reach that point you will become a good Kayle and your team will be thankful to have you.
I did post this build in the official League of Legend forums about an hour prior to posting here. If you see people make builds similar to mine don't let them fool you. I am the original builder. I have been playing Kayle before all the patches changed her. I have been forced to continually change my builds since then. I have always put a lot of thought into my builds and I am confidant they will work for you too.
If I did not answer all the questions or explain this build properly feel free to post here, or add me in League and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have (if I am on). Thank you if you read this. I look forward to seeing what the community thinks of my odd but, interesting builds!

I am making this chapter due to the discussions on this page. I was not able to get a hold of anyone to have a 1 on 1 conversation to bounce my ideas off to so I will just go for it. If people feel that these builds are worthy of being put on the build page above I will edit it later.
AP Build 2: It seems the community would rather have
Blade of the Ruined King then the
Hextech Gunblade. I was thinking of using
Guinsoo's Rageblade but, I am told that is not a good item by a few high end players. I think you should use
Wooglet's Witchcap,
Mercury's Treads,
Blade of the Ruined King,
Blackfire Torch and
Banshee's Veil or
Runic Bulwark (to replace
Spirit Visage) for the core.
For the last item I could not decide. I guess either
Lich Bane,
Rylai's Crystal Scepter or
Deathfire Grasp would work. With Deathfire that would mean a third cannon.
AP Build 3: I tried the
Blade of the Ruined King in a 3v3. When I used
Righteous Fury I was not gaining life. It would seem it's based on Spell Vamp when activated. With that flaw discovered I came up with this next build.
Use
Mercury's Treads,
Wooglet's Witchcap,
Hextech Gunblade,
Nashor's Tooth,
Blackfire Torch, and either
Banshee's Veil or
Runic Bulwark for your core items.
For the last item I guess
Lich Bane,
Deathfire Grasp, or
Rylai's Crystal Scepter (for the health).
If the enemy is all AD then use
Locket of the Iron Solari instead of
Banshee's Veil or
Runic Bulwark for both builds.
AP Build 4: This is one of my 5v5 builds that I modified from another Kayle build. This is not good at sustainability but, it does a lot of damage. In this build use
Mercury's Treads,
Guardian Angel,
Nashor's Tooth,
Guinsoo's Rageblade,
Lich Bane, and
Rabadon's Deathcap.
AP Build 5: This is my other 5v5 build. In this one it is
Mercury's Treads,
Guardian Angel or
Runic Bulwark,
Rabadon's Deathcap,
Nashor's Tooth,
Zhonya's Hourglass, and
Liandry's Torment.
If you want more offense then you can replace the
Runic Bulwark/
Guardian Angel with
Lich Bane
AD Build 2: With the
Lich Bane idea for the AP build I thought I should make one similar for the AD. This build will result in more HP but, it won't have
Executioner's Calling or the higher end Magic Resist. For this build it will be..
Mercury's Treads,
Randuin's Omen,
Infinity Edge,
Trinity Force,
Sanguine Blade, and
Black Cleaver.
AD Build 3: This is a newer 5v5 one that I use with the changes. This is a sustainability build with damage. I use
Mercury's Treads,
Guardian Angel, Warmogs Armor,
Trinity Force,
Black Cleaver, and
Bloodthirster.
I use
Greater Mark of Attack Speed,
Greater Seal of Scaling Armor,
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist, and
Greater Quintessence of Percent Health
For early on gold I use Philosopher's Stone. I then transform it into an Eleisa's Miracale at level 15 for permanent health regen, and a 30% cool down on Heal when I support.
AD Build 4 In this 5v5 support build it does the same thing as build 3. Instead it goes for damage. It uses
Trinity Force,
Executioner's Calling,
Infinity Edge,
Bloodthirster,
Black Cleaver, and
Mercury's Treads
Unlike Build 3 it gives you two items for gold. The
Avarice Blade and Philosopher's Stone will both give you gold to pay for the expensive build.
Avarice Blade turns into
Executioner's Calling and Philosopher's Stone turns into
Eleisa's Miracle at level 15
I will update this chapter as I continue to think of new ways to play a 3v3 or 5v5 Kayle.
