I have designed this guide to contain any and all information about
First off my name is Haplo Zyorhist. Most people just call me Zyo, which is fine. I started playing LoL last year at the time I was a very active LoL player, for my first few levels I jumped from champ to champ. Around level 4 I got an opportunity to play
For the period of then until now I have played and mastered
Since then I have decided to main her again and as a result have decided to put up this guide in hopes that someone will find the same joy with her as I do and make others perceive the threat that she actually possesses.

Cons
- Slow move speed - Slow to build - Extremely item dependent - Can easily be built wrong - If not planned right she is very weak - Can easily push lanes on accident |

My marks and quints on the other hand vary, and as a result I actually have both of my pages used for different builds for
As stated before, there are no stats that don't benefit
Holy Fervor, Passive. "Kayle's basic attacks against enemy champions reduces their armor and magic resistance by 3% for 5 seconds (stacks up to 5 times)."This ability is an extremely powerful ability on
Reckoning, Q. "Blasts a target, dealing 60 / 110 / 160 / 210 / 260 (+100% of ability power) (+1.0 per bonus attack damage) magic damage and slowing its movement speed by 35% for 4 seconds. While the target is slowed, Kayle inflicts 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 / 10 % more damage to the target. Damage increase applies to summoner spells and items used by Kayle."This ability has amazing usability as with most of her abilities. The reason is that it fulfills 3 different roles. 1) it deals burst damage, 2) is applies a pretty powerful slow, 3)
Divine Blessing, W. "Blesses a target allied champion, healing them for 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 205 (+35% of ability power) health and increasing their movement speed by 18 / 21 / 24 / 27 / 30 % for 3 seconds."As with her other abilities this one also provides a couple of different things. 1) it provides a decent heal, 2) it provides a speed bump. At max level the speed bump is amazing and can assure any of your allies get away, but not quite enough on its own to be able to catch some running enemies. Again the importance of using this ability is to keep in mind both of the uses and use it for either or both of the effects.
Righteous Fury, E. "Kayle harnesses her righteous fury to increase her attack range by 400 for 10 seconds. These attacks splash, dealing 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 (+20% of ability power) additional magic damage to her target with nearby units taking 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 % of her attack damage plus magic damage. This splash damage does not affect turrets."This one is probably
Intervention, R. "Kayle bathes a target ally champion (or herself) in a holy light, rendering them immune to all damage for 2 / 2.5 / 3 seconds."This is the only ability

Picking Order
The order in which you pick your abilities is largely dependent on what your job is during that match as well as who you are laning against. If you are trying to fulfill the support role you usually want to start with
If you are playing the tank role it is expected that you would take
If you are trying to cover a solo lane you should almost always get
If you are playing against a ranged character you need to evaluate who you are with. If you are laning 1 ranged and
As you can see there isn't any specific order of most important so don't be afraid to change it up from game to game. And don't forget to get what is needed at the time.
If your team is doing well my personal default order is:
That is unless I am the AP or support character then my choice is different. So please find an order that is best for you and don't allow yourself to fall into a rut.
Exhaust. This ability is great for those who have a hard time catching their opponents. I typically take this on
Garrison. This is a dominion only spell but if you are trying to fill a support role you can make great use of it. I personally don't play much Dominion anymore so I am unsure if it has been buffed/nerfed and as a result don't know how useful it is to date.
Ghost. This ability is good for
Heal. Many people say that this spell is for n00bs but I find that it has its uses. Many times I have lost a kill because they had heal, or their support did. It is incredibly useful if timed right, it is just an annoyance if the caster doesn't know how to use it properly.
Revive. This spell is also underrated. It is mostly effective when you are playing games like Dominion where you know you are going to die a bit. The cooldown only allows for this to be used a couple times a match and you shouldn't be dieing enough to make this very useful. However, there are times when it can be useful, IE you know that you are going to be saving your carries a lot and are going to risk your life over theirs more often than not. If your taking the support role this is your job and so this may be handy.
Smite. Many people say that
Surge. While surge is mostly useless for most champions, it is not completely without use on
Teleport. This spell is one of my favorites on
Cleanse. This spell is another that has great use on
Clarity.
Ignite. This spell has become one of my favorites because of the fact that I can splash many targets and when they start fleeing I just drop an
Promote. This spell isn't great for most champions. I can see its usefulness in some situations but I personally never use it because those situations are so rare and hard to come by. There are many better spells out there unless you know how to time this and use it properly.
Clairvoyance. This is the supporter's best help. You can peak at any portion of the map at nearly any time. It has a low cooldown and sometimes I take it even if I'm the tank just to keep an eye out for things. If you take this don't be afraid to just spam it as often as possible because of the extremely low cooldown.
Flash. This is the saving grace of many champions. It is an easy pursue, escape, jump, anything. You can use it for a thousand and one different things but it has a higher cooldown. Don't spam it just because you can but use it at times when it is truely beneficial. (I once used it on treeline to get into the enemy base and take down their nexus before they could recall).
That being said, I have created a list of ALL FINAL ITEMS and the circumstances under which you should think about using them. Keep in mind that there are other reasons to use them and items that go into the making of these items that can be useful as well.
Trinity Force. I am solely against this item on each and every champion as it provides a little of EVERYTHING and, other than ______________________________________________________
Boots
Each champion needs boots, and
Ninja Tabi. These boots are good in the fact that they provide armor and damage reduction. You should take these if you are getting mauled by AD champions and need some sustain vs them.
Berserker's Greaves. These boots provide amazing attack speed for their price. I personally love these on
Boots of Swiftness. These boots provide the best move speed modification in the game (for boots). Get these if you are playing against faster champions as even with your slow you may not be able to keep up with some champs.
Boots of Mobility. These boots actually trump
Ionian Boots of Lucidity. These boots give a great CDR and still provide move speed, but again they arn't as needed because
Sorcerer's Shoes. These are great for a mage but being as
Mercury's Treads. These are possibly the best boots in the game and as a result of this you should get these more often than not. Most of the time people will try to CC you because of your versatility and ability to shred their armor._____________________________________________________
Situational Items
I'm not going to list component items because more often than not they will be used to create the final form items, so instead I'm going to list items that are in final form and why they benefit.
Basic Tier
Doran's Blade. This is a great starting item because it provides AD as well as some health and LS. I sometimes get this as a starting item if I am solo laning because it provides a little extra sustainability.
Doran's Ring. This item is another great starting item because it provides AP, health and mana regen. This is usually my starting item when I am playing support or filling an AP role.
Doran's Shield. An alternative to the blade, the shield has Armor and Health plus some health regen. I use this as another of my starting items from time to time.Advanced Tier
Abyssal Scepter. This is a great item in the fact that it is a cheap way of getting some AP and MR but the main thing is that the aura debuff that enemies suffer. This debuff stacks with your passive
Aegis of the Legion. This item provides armor and health as well as some MR, but the aura is beneficial to your allies. I end up getting this from time to time when I am taking up the support role. It is a great support item and shouldn't be overlooked because it isn't legendary.
Atma's Impaler. This item provides pretty good armor for its price. The unique passive never has greatly impressed me because it is only 1.5% of your max health which equates to 15 damage per 1k life. Many people swear by it because of this fact but that damage can easily be found in other items.
Cloak and Dagger. This item is a cheap way to get a little AS and tenancy. It is mostly beneficial because it can make up for not taking
Force of Nature. This item is great for sustain. It also adds a little mobility to
Guardian Angel. This is more of a troll item on
Guinsoo's Rageblade. This item is FANTASTIC for most any
Haunting Guise. I have never actually used this item, mostly because it yields low output but looking at it, I may rotate it into my early game items because it is very cheap and has nice Magic Pen. Would have to try it out or get input from people before I know how helpful it really is on
Infinity Edge. This item is great for most anyone who uses AD, which
Ionic Spark. This is one of my most favorite items, though I'm not exactly sure why. It provides AS and health plus every fourth attack procs a passive. It doesn't seem like much but for its price it is actually quite useful, especially when paired with
Last Whisper. This item is amazing at cutting armor and when paired with
Leviathan. This armor is my least favorite in the game. It is dependent on getting kills and assists and takes most of the game to get to full stacks. when you do get to full stacks the passive is nice but more often than not it is too difficult to play when worrying about losing stacks.
Malady. This is probably the funnest item to get for
Mejai's Soulstealer. This item is a pretty cheap AP boost but it also yields another snowball effect similar to
Moonflair Spellblade. This is a cheap way to get some AP and tenancy but remember that the tenancy doesn't stack so it isn't worth it if you get
Quicksilver Sash. This is a great way to get some cheap MR but better yet it has a built in
Rabadon's Deathcap. Always nice for anyone who is going with AP. This will greatly buff the heals
Rylai's Crystal Scepter. This is a controversial item for
Sunfire Cape. This is a great item for most melee characters, but less useful for
Sword of the Occult. This is another of the cheap snowball items that I never play with. If you like snowball items it is nice as far as it can yield a large amount of AD when fully stacked, but without stacks its a waste of money for the 10 AD.
The Black Cleaver. The cleaver is controversial as to which is better, between it and
The Bloodthirster. Brings in some good AD and LS but those continue to boost for every kill. These bonuses are halved when you die so if you decide to run this (which I very rarely do) don't get overconfident with it.
Thornmail. This is one of the funniest armors in the game. There have been times where I have had a
Tiamat. Always a fun item for
Void Staff. This is typically seen on AP champions but when paired with
Warmog's Armor. This is the best item in the game for health. It provides a whopping 920 standard and then an increasing amount for stacks. Unlike most others the stacks are never lost on this so don't be afraid to get it whenever you decide you need life.
Wit's End. As with
Zhonya's Hourglass. This item makes it so you can be sure your allies survive a gank or can take the burst damage of the initial part of a team fight. If you decide that your allies are dieing pretty easy it is nice to pick up something like this to help keep them alive. It also synchronizes well with Legendary
Archangel's Staff. This is for any
Athene's Unholy Grail. Another item that provides great AP. The mana regen is nice plus it helps to keep you up when in a team fight and getting kills. Not the most recommended for
Banshee's Veil. Amazing for playing against those
Deathfire Grasp. Another great AP boost with a built in nuke attack. Don't be afraid to get it just because you don't get the yield off of AP that you get off of AD. And don't forget to use the active.
Eleisa's Miracle. Cheap, but only provides tenancy and regen. Not worth wasting a slot unless you do so early game and intend to sell it. It does provide early sustain.
Frozen Heart. Always fun for those nasty speed attackers. Not as good as a movement speed reduction but still not bad. The armor and CDR it gives is very nice and allows you to get the hits in you need to proc your
Frozen Mallet. This is my personal favorite for
Hextech Gunblade. This item is more beneficial on
Lich Bane. This is a good item for
Locket of the Iron Solari. This is a great item to build into if you need to get a gp5 item early on. I personally don't build this often but the armor and health benefit is nice again don't forget the actives.Madred's Bloodrazer Madred's Bloodrazer. An amazing item for when you are facing a bunch of tanks, and believe me it does happen. This shreds their health and if built right you can actually do this damage almost as fast as
Manamune. This brings a small amount of AD to the table but the main benefit is that it gives you a lot of mana. This is a fairly cheap way to max out the mana. I don't use it much because mana isn't needed THAT much.
Maw of Malmortius. This is an upgrade for the
Morello's Evil Tome. Great AP and mana regen. The CDR is a great alternative to what you would get from
Nashor's Tooth. This ends up in my build 90% of the time because it is easy CDR and AP plus AS, all of which are amazing for
Phantom Dancer. This gives a nice move speed buff, again very nice since
Randuin's Omen. Amazing for if you are taking the tank route. It has entirely too many benefits to memorize but know that the move speed reduction is worth the money. I almost always build this if I needed to start with a gp5 item. This allows me to get my gold and continue to do well early game.
Rod of Ages. Another great item. The continual effects of this boost well with something like
Shurelya's Reverie. This is more of a sustain item. It gives good health and some regen but the active is what makes this item really nice. This is good for a support
Soul Shroud. Another sustain, the health granted is nice but the real benefit comes from the fact that you are giving your allies hp5. Again very good for a support but not worth rushing for.
Spirit Visage. Always nice for someone that can heal. This provides some health but mainly allows you to get an added 15% healing. Unfortunately it only works on yourself but still worth it when you are needing that little extra from your
Will of the Ancients. This one is amazing for
Wriggle's Lantern. This is most often grabbed by junglers but don't be afraid to get it if you need to have a faster way to clear minion waves or want it for the active and life steal. It's not my first pick for life steal but is second or third because it is so cheap.
Youmuu's Ghostblade. This is usually grabbed by a Zeke's Herald Zeke's Herald. We finally made it to the end. This is my favorite life steal item because it assists your allies as well as yourself. Being as I play more support than anything it has nice utility and one of the larger life steal benefits you can find for the price. That doesn't even mention the fact that it is an attack speed buff as well.
As
Support
If you are starting off as a Support, it is usually best to start building something like
with 40% CDR her Q has a 4.8s cooldown, W has a 9.0s cooldown, E has a 9.6s cooldown, and R has a 36s cooldown.

Solo Lane
Starting at the top of the map, if you are playing the solo lane with
You have to be very careful of who you are laning against. Ranged champions and Melee champions are very easy for
If you are laning a melee champ it is much easier to harass, be sure to hit the champ as often as possible while you are last hitting and save your

Mid Lane

Bot Lane
Because there are 2 positions at the bottom lane it is important to change your play style for what is going on. If you are supporting, DONT LAST HIT, your ally needs them. If you know that your ally cant get the last hit, such as being at base, then get all you can but don't take away from your ally. Use your abilities in a way that will help to assure your ally will be able to get the most kills and you take all of the assists.
If you are the one being supported you need to play the opposite. This is the time when you can get greedy, take last hits, use your abilities to ensure you get the kill and don't be afraid to heal yourself. As always be cautious of ganks especially if you are doing extremely well.

Jungling
Jungling with
My personal favorite is to start taking the opposite attack stat, for example if I started off running AD, I will start picking up some items that are both AP and AD, such as
It is extremely important not to pick items that don't build on what you already have in place. This is because you have already invested time and money toward something and if you try to discontinue that you will be eating time and money and your enemies will have that much over top of you. Don't be afraid to branch out a little but don't just pull a 180 either. If you do you will no longer be able to keep up with your team or enemies and become a hinderance.
During mid game you, as
Talk with your team and plan your ganks and movements because this is where the other team usually surrenders if you can help conquer the field.
