Introduction

Hey, I'm Kasugunai and welcome to my guide. I've been playing League of Legends since August 2010, having peaked Challenger rank 2 in April 2018.

I have been doing individual coaching (multiple games) since 2014 and played professionally for nearly a year from September 2015 to May 2016. Earlier last year I started my path to a more serious career in League of Legends esports, having worked in the German national league (ESLM) as an analyst for 2 weeks, in the Portuguese one (DreamcupPT) as a coach for 1 month and most importantly as the Head Analyst for Beşiktaş Esports in TCL 2019 Summer.

I took a break from esports until the end of this year's spring split for personal reasons, so in the meantime I figured I could write some short guides to assist people looking for updated setups and gameplay.

Getting Started

Before anything else, I want to make it clear that my guides are highly focused on how to play the champion to its highest level so I won't go into general concepts. For that you'd need to look up an extensive general guide but even then, it might be too much to cover without a proper coaching session.

Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments, I usually reply within a day unless I'm away from home. Alternatively, in the case that I'm live, you can also tune into my stream and ask me any questions and I'll answer if I'm not in-game.

All the information in my guides comes from working with professional players or dedicated champion mains.

Abilities

Petricite Burst (Passive)

Effect Radius: 300

INNATE: Casting an ability grants an Unshackled stack for 4 seconds, with the duration refreshing on subsequent ability uses. can have up to three Unshackled stacks at a time. While has stacks of Unshackled, he gains 80% bonus attack speed.

UNSHACKLED: ' next basic attack is modified to whirl his chains around him, becoming unstoppable, dealing 130% AD (+ 25% AP) magic damage to his primary target and 40% AD (+ 20% AP) magic damage to nearby secondary targets and consuming an Unshackled stack.

Damage to secondary targets executes minions below 25 health.

The empowered attack applies on-hit effects to the primary target but disables ' critical strikes' bonus damage. Spell effects only apply when there are secondary targets.

Effect Radius: 180 / 200

Cost: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 mana
Cooldown: 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6

ACTIVE: lashes out two lines that converge to the target location and extend beyond it up to a maximum range, dealing 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 (+ 40% AP) magic damage and slowing enemies hit by 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35% for 1.5 seconds.

After a 0.6-second delay, the chains' intersection detonates, dealing 60 / 115 / 170 / 225 / 280 (+ 80% AP) magic damage. Against minions and monsters the detonation deals 60% reduced damage.

Cooldown: 13 / 11.5 / 10 / 8.5 / 7

ACTIVE: lunges at a target enemy with a powerful strike, dealing 65 / 100 / 135 / 170 / 205 (+ 85% AP) magic damage.

Against enemy champions, is also healed for 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 (+ 50% AP), increased by 0% − 100% (based on ' missing health).

Cost: 65 mana
Cooldown: 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 / 10

ACTIVE - ABSCOND: dashes forward to the target location.

For the next 3.5 seconds, may cast .

Ability Details:

Abduct (E)

Target Range: 800
Speed: 1600 / 1800
Cast Time: 0.25

ACTIVE - ABDUCT: whips out his chains in the target direction, dealing 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 / 280 (+ 100% AP) magic damage and stunning the first enemy hit, pulling himself towards them, and knocking them up for 0.35 seconds upon arrival.

may still move, basic attack and cast or before the chains reach his target.

is locked-out for 0.05 seconds after dashing.

Hijack (R)

Target Range: 950
Cast Time: 0.25
Cost: 75 mana
Cooldown: 100 / 80 / 60
On-Target Cooldown: 200% of target's ultimate cooldown

ACTIVE: launches his chains towards the target enemy champion to gain a copy of their ultimate ability. cannot select the same champion again for a set duration, and can hold the hijacked ultimate for 90 seconds, during which he can recast .

RECAST: can cast his hijacked ultimate ability at no cost, scaling based on 's rank and his own statistics.

All Hijacked ultimates and abilities that do not scale with ability power have their attack damage ratios converted to ability power ratios, scaling with 0.6% AP per 1% total AD, and 0.4% AP per 1% bonus AD respectively.
