Things to consider:
Before prioritizing early objectives like

- Do I get any kills or objectives when roaming?
- What outcomes could occur during the roam?
- Do I come out ahead or not?
- If a team fight erupts during your games, always consider what you'll gain from it, meaning will you impact the outcome of the battle or objective, or does your team come out on top without you being there?
- When deciding to enter combat with

Stats To Consider
|
Which Boots & Why?
Berserker's Greaves > Attack Speed
Berserker's Greaves are the best option when playing as
Ashe. They give you plenty of attack speed needed to trade, farm, and offer the best potential in team fights and provide consistent damage against objectives such as
turrets/
baron nashor or
dragons.

Gunmetal Greaves >
Berserker's Greaves blessing of Noxus upgrade
Gunmetal Greaves offers increased attack Speed, while also providing
on-hit mobility for increased kiting potential.

Boots of Swiftness > Slow Reduction
Boots of Swiftness are effective when dealing with teams with slowing effects. They can vary from sources such as
Rylai's Crystal Scepter/
Serylda's Grudge, or other movement impairing slowing effects that would leave you vulnerable and make it hard for you to escape combat.

Swiftmarch >
Boots of Swiftness blessing of Noxus upgrade
With
Swiftmarch, grant increased mobility, helping to improve your dodging of skill shots and also assist in travelling the rift faster.

With

Chainlord Crushers >
Mercury's Treads blessing of Noxus upgrade
With
Chainlaced Crushers, you'll gain increased shielding that blocks magic damage and great against burst or dot
mage comps.

With

Plated Steelcaps > Basic Attack Damage Reduction
Plated Steelcaps is best taken against teams that stack physical damage. A great damage reduction tool against heavy auto-attack-based opponents or when you need extra armor in combat.

Armored Advance >
Plated Steelcaps blessing of Noxus upgrade
Armored Advance functions similarly to
Chainlaced Crushers. In contrast, you'll gain increased shielding that blocks any incoming physical damage you receive in combat.

To acquire the blessing of Noxus buff, you'll need to complete any two of the following actions during your games:
- Killing three epic

- Acquiring first blood
- Destroying the first

Upon claiming the buff, you can purchase the upgrade to the

Note that

Itemization
If you are dealing with poke matchups where you must be more patient, take a slower approach, or need the extra health/healing to sustain longer in the early fight and skirmishes, I would consider
Doran's Blade.

Deals % current health damage, steals movement speed, and provide some added sustain. When paired with other
on-hit items (
Runaan's Hurricane &
Kraken Slayer), or as a standalone is a great option to consider when shredding
tanks and certain squishy champions.

An excellent sustain option for
Ashe, allowing you to heal during and after combat. With
Bloodthirster's high life steal rating, and additional shielding, you'll maintain pressure on the map and be a significant threat.

It provides
Ashe with a necessary revive to stay alive longer while carrying in the game. Be mindful that dying in a large crowd means being swarmed after resurrecting; therefore, be cautious when engaging in team fights and skirmishes.

Upgrades from
Quicksilver Sash, and is effective when dealing with crowd control/spell effects (except airborne,
Exhaust,
Ignite or
Smite), while also effective against the following champion abilities:
Ambessa's
Public Execution,
Malzahar's
Nether Grasp,
Sett's
The Show Stopper,
Skarner's
Impale,
Urgot's
Fear Beyond Death,
Tahm Kench's
Devour or
Warwick's
Infinite Duress, that would impair or displace you during combat.
Do to the long active cooldown, careful ability blocking paramount.

Do to the long active cooldown, careful ability blocking paramount.

Having
Statikk Shiv on
Ashe lets you poke from a distance and trim down minion waves, giving you more agency in the lane for roams and arriving at team fights/skirmishes sooner. With this added poke, you can gain a small advantage against opponents with low wave clear, such as
Draven,
Ezreal,
Samira or
Vayne.

With
Elixir of Wrath, you'll have more damage at your disposal while also acquiring
physical vamp, healing based on all physical damage you deal to enemy champions. A very efficient sustain option for
Ashe to acquire before an important
dragon/
baron nashor fight or once you have reached full build.

Runes
The following keystone and rune choices are great for
Ashe and will complement her in combat. Always pay attention to the enemy team comp, plus your item builds when selecting your runes to get the most value in each game.
