Introduction

blancoek's Tribrid Shyvana

Welcome to my Tribrid Shyvana Guide/Build. Tribrid Shyvana is a flexible build in the which you are basically a tank that deals loads of DPS while being able to survive in team fights. This build gives you both Magic and Physical damage outcome, meaning you can't be countered easily and still if you're facing heavy damage dealers you can take them out without any problems.

Builds

This guide contains two builds, both ending with the same items but starting in a different order according to your needs. If you're going to lane, use the first build which is best set for laning and rushing enemy champions. The second build is more focused on jungling and ganking.

Masteries

Masteries are focused on tanking, getting physical and magic damage outcome at a faster rate due to the points spent on cooldown reduction. You can easily tank minions at low levels to get the best profit from farming, which will obviously make you win the match.

Skill Sequence

Our goal at early game is to farm minions well, which is why we max out as soon as possible. Then the next skill to max out is so that we can take down enemy champions quickly along with our or . Last comes so that you reduce the target's armor before jumping on it. I assume you want as soon as possible so you have to spend points on it whenever you can.

Runes

Greater Mark of Desolation Armor Penetration is always better than pure Attack Damage in my opinion. This helps with minion farming and champion kills.

A little extra armor will help you farm minions without getting low hp.

Faster spell usage along with equals more damage in less time.

Greater Quintessence of Desolation Some more Armor Penetration to devastate enemy champions.

Core Build

This is a great item to start with since I assume you're wanting to lane. If not maybe a should work for jungling.

You might get focused a lot since you will be dealing tons of damage during the match, which is why you want these. You're meant to buy and some to get some early game kills. Then complete your boots or if you need to go back to the base badly buy a and some more potions to complete boots afterwards.

Start off by buying a whenever you can. Since you might be having some trouble against your hurtful opponents. Then get for the extra movement speed and finish with and if possible complete your Trinity Force just as soon as you get Sheen.

Get Vampiric first for a longer laning survivability. Afterwards try and complete for the extra damage and being able to slow your opponents from afar. If you don't have enough for it then get a . Then you should have enough for before having to go back to the base. Maybe even enough for the whole Gunblade.

You might be wanting some more damage now. Get B.F. Sword and you should have a little cash left. Go along and keep on farming until you have enough for either a or the whole Infinity Edge.

Once again you may be having health issues in fights, which is why you have to buy a immediately. Then on your next trip to the base you should have enough for your Rylai. This will help you slow your opponents not only with autoattacks, but also with spells.

Optional Items

This is my favorite optional item since you can keep on fighting after you've died. You MIGHT be focused and that's a good reason to get this item.

In case the enemy team has some heavy Physical damage, this is a beast item to get instead of Guardian Angel. Since it might let you live longer without having to revive.

Get this one if the enemy team is loaded of casters.

This is a good item to buy if you want some more damage and are against not so heavy damage dealers.

Summoner Spells

This spell is pretty great to chase and/or run. We choose this one since we spent a point in the mastery tree to improve it along with the next spell.

Epic spell to chase or defend yourself. Awesome for early game fights in the which you don't have much DPS.

Grab this one if you're willing to jungle.

If you don't think you'll make it when fighting a champion with exhaust then grab this one.

Useful when fighting other champions since you get benefits for both magical and physical damage.

The way our masteries are set won't let you get maximum benefit from many other spells. This is why I don't mention them as summoner spells you should be getting. Other than smite which is necessary if you're going to jungle.

Jungling

If you're going to jungle you should start with a and follow this jungling path:

You start with wraiths. Smite the biggest one and take the rest down with autoattack and . Afterwards head to wolves and focus on the big one while hits the little ones. If you don't need to go back for health yet then head to golems and take them down. Now go back for some potions and maybe for some extra defense. Get the red buff from the by autoattacking him and using and . The other minions should die to . Get some more experience with golems ONLY if you have enough health. If not go back and buy boots. Then get wraiths again and head to wolves to finish with the Ancient Golem to get the blue buff. If necessary go back to your base and get . Now you're meant to start ganking and if you'd like to go lane or keep on jungling.

Ultimate Escape Spots

If you need to escape, since you might get focused a lot, there are several routes you can take to escape by using your ultimate to jump over walls depending on your location. The best escape spots are the following:
