Irelia history

The Ionians fought admirably, but soon Ionian blood stained the land beneath the prints of foreign boots. At the Great Stand of the Placidium, Ionians prepared for surrender, but were inspired to maintain their resistance when the young Irelia lifted her father's enormous blade and pledged to hold until her brother returned. In the chaos of the ensuing fight, Irelia was cursed with dark Noxian Necromancy. As her life ebbed, Soraka, the Starchild, made a final attempt to anchor her fading soul. Unwilling to relinquish her home, Irelia rose at the brink of death, and her father's sword lifted in the air alongside her. Irelia rushed back to the fore, unfazed by the blade's sudden animation. The weapon danced around her effortlessly, cutting down Noxians as they gaped in horror. The decimated invaders were forced to retreat from the Placidium. Irelia was appointed Ionia's Captain of the Guard, and when the defense of her homeland moved to the Fields of Justice, so did she.
'The sword flourishes, as though painting with blood.'

Greetings fellow league attendants.
My name is Andreas. I'm from Denmark, and I wanted to make this guide to give you an idea how I like to play my Irelia. As I said, this is my guide, my way to build her, and you are free to experiment and try out different strategies for yourself.
This guide will show you a fun way to play Irelia, shaco and udyr, without getting owned.
I hope you find my builds satisfying and totally awesome!

A needed item for a good Irelia. This item makes her almost unstoppable. And in the tank situation it's very useful if you want to help your team as much as possible.

This is my favorite spell because of the stun/slow on the ability. It's really useful, both if you chase, or just 1v1 a enemy. And if you are in trouble, you can just turn around and stun the enemy. I love this ability.

Irelia summons 4 spirit blades that she can fling to deal 80/120/160 (+ ) (+0.5) physical damage to enemies they pass through. She heals for 25% of the damage dealt against champions and 10% against minions.

As tank i have chosen flat health, and it will give about 126 extra health at lvl 1. And you have 430 if you just go without runes and items. But with
and the runes, you will go to your lane with 676 health. And with your masteries you will have 700+.
I have also chosen to get some flat armor and magicresist, so i will have a better chance in the lane in the start of the game. At lvl 1 you will have about 15 armor and 30 magicresist without anything, but with
and masteries, and your runes, you will have 30 + 13,42 (from runes) + 6 (from masteries) = 49. And you will have 8 (from runes) + 10 (from
) + 6 (from masteries) = 39 armor. So you are very hard to counter.

Most would say that death isn't funny. It isn't, unless you're Shaco - then it's hysterical. He is Valoran's first fully functioning homicidal comic; he jests until someone dies, and then he laughs. The figure that has come to be known as the Demon Jester is an enigma. No one fully agrees from whence he came, and Shaco never offers any details on his own. A popular belief is that Shaco is not of Runeterra - that he is a thing summoned from a dark and twisted world. Still others believe that he is the demonic manifestation of humanity's dark urges and therefore cannot be reasoned with. The most plausible belief is that Shaco is an assassin for hire, left to his own lunatic devices until his services are needed. Shaco certainly has proven himself to be a cunning individual, evading authorities at every turn who might seek him for questioning for some horrendous, law-breaking atrocity. While such scuttlebutt might reassure the native inhabitants of Valoran, it seems unimaginable that such a malfeasant figure is allowed to remain at large.
Whatever the truth of his history might be, Shaco has joined the League of Legends for reasons only he knows. He is a terrifying figure, typically shunned by both his fellow champions and the media at large. Only the summoners in the Institute of War know why such a creature was allowed into the League, but most Runeterrans suspect it to be a means that allows the power that be to keep an eye on the ever-elusive Shaco. Unsurprisingly, this champion is popular in places where madness can openly reign, such as among the power-hungry summoners of Zaun and Noxus.
Whatever you do, don't tell him you missed the punch line.

sorcerres shoesSecondly, I'll aim for my Boots. I people prefer magic penetration, and it's good because you increase damage. However, some people prefer

Your AP should now start to build up and reach acceptable levels.

At this point, your gankability should be through the roof.

By now, you should be “WOW”, and the opponents would fear you if they had got the time before you killed them. However, you still got room for two more items!

and very game-dependant..!

Its all up to you. This is just my guide where i showyou what i'll prefer, as my items, during a game with Shaco, the AP Ganking jester.

Other good choices:

As you can see, I choose flat AP runes, and magic-penetration . This will increase the damage dealt by my Jack-in-the-Box in lower levels, and the MP will also increase my damage in higher lvl. By doing this, one can easily grab bluebuff at the beginning without any help. Make sure to run to the golem as soon as possible, and spam dolls until it spawns.
My masteries is divided 9/0/21, and I chose a UTILITY build for several reasons. You need a little mana regen, as you will be spamming your abilities back and forth. Furthermore, movement speed and cooldown reduction will make great additions to this play style. You'd want the neutral buff duration increase, as you will be getting buffs whenever you can, and lastly, you'll spend some points in offence. Improving exhaust will give you a larger damage output on the given target, and then you'll get some much needed magic penetration to further increase your damage output.
You could also go for a 21/0/9 build, but it's just not that useful, if you want to hold your mana up, and not getting in troubles with your escape abilities because you are running low on mana.
- Shaco stealths himself instantly and teleports to target location. His next attack is guaranteed to critically strike.

Decive I use my decieve to gank, escape, scout the area and to chase. You can jump in and kill an enemy trying to base, or you can escape through a wall, like using the summoner spell flash. It's also great for setting up ganks. Remember that you will always crit when attacking from stealth, and your damage output will be increased by Lich Bane aswell.
Note: Because of the cooldown, you might not get to use this ability both to enter AND escape the fight. Make sure you are ready to stay in the fight if you use it to get in the fight quickly..!

Shaco creates a Jack in the Box at the target location. It will Stealth after 2 seconds, and pop out when an enemy comes near, fearing nearby enemies for 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds and attacking them.
Its attacks deal 35/55/75/95/115 (+0.25) magic damage and it lasts for 90 seconds while stealthed or 5 seconds while firing.

Jack in the Box Im using my JITB's to fear my enemy, and make and easy gank. In addition it actually deals LOADS of damage. You may also use 'em like a ward. Put them in a bush, and when an enemy is coming to gank you, they will be feared, giving you time to run. Also, it's a great way to make a trap. Put several JITB's in a bush, and just wait for an enemy to arrive. Easy kill.
Good places to make your boxes

Passive: Shaco's attacks poison his target, reducing their movement speed. If the target is a minion, it reduces their chance to hit by 20/22.5/25/27.5/30% for 2 seconds.
Active: Deals 40/80/120/160/200 (1+) magic damage to target enemy, and poisons them for 3 seconds. Upon activating this ability the passive is removed until Two-Shiv Poison becomes available again.

Two-shiv Poison I use this ability to harass, chase and kill. This ability stacks GREAT with your AP, and so you will have HUGE damage with this ability. In addition, it got short cooldown. It's a really good chase too, as it got a long range, good slow, and with Rylais Scepter, it slows even more..!
Team Work
Your part of the team could be to “ward” with your Jack In The Box and scout with Deceive. You should also harass with your Two-Shiv Poison. Make sure to use Jack In The Box during teamfights as well, as a fully feared team is much easier to kill. This can easily give you the upper hand in a hard team fight..

In a team fight, you are the assassin. You run around killing those who try to flee and make sure none of your team mates are being followed when they themselves have to flee. Be sure not to stay in the very middle of a team fight from the start. You ARE squishy, and you WILL die fast if you play like a tank.

I have chosen flat attack damage, criticalstrike chance and attack speed. So you will do very well early-game, with an start attackdamage on 53 + 0,95x9 + 3x2,25 plus flat AD from masteries, and they are giving +3 ad, and all that is about 71 AD at lvl 1. It's very nice, and very useful.

In this DPS build, your task is to nuke all the squishy's, before they are making any damage to your team. And then just run around kill enemies 1v1, and kill the dragon from time to time. You will quickly get fed, and when you have killed dragon some times, you have given your team a nice amount of money.
I don't jungle with Shaco, because i think hes much funnier to lane with, and because i can...
Many people write to me after the games... Always the enemies.. "You have to jungle with shaco you noob"... But then i say "I got the insane score? And you got a minus score? I don't have to jungle"
This guide will provide huge damage output, great gankability, map overview and mobility. It will give you the ability to jump into a team fight and turn the tides of war. And you will be able to pop in, do your job, then get the BELL out of there!
I really like during lane with Shaco, give it a chance ;D

B.F Sword If you get it right now, you'll get massive crit's.

And because of the

If you dont like the way i build up my items, then just change it :D!

I have chosen the runes i have to make a great start for my Shaco. If you can imagine the insane crit they will receive if you decive behind them at lvl 1, you would probably crit 210 of their hp away. Then you exhaust and ignite, the enemy is trying to flee, hes running slowly away, and you just keep stabbing him in the back, and hes dead in 2 sec. And then i have chosen the HP runes, and that's because i don't want him to be squishy
You could pick some Armor-Penetration-runes to, but i recommend that you go after flat AD, Crit damage and HP, because of the awesome damage at lvl 1. The damage allows you to get feed really fast. And the strength of HP.

I have chosen the masteries i have, because you, as AD Shaco needs the extra damage. And then i like going a bit defensive.
Sorery It's very important to get this. The cooldown effect is epic, and it gives you many more gank opportunities , and gives your escape-abilities a much better chance.

I'm using the points i have in surplus to help me with some armor and MR for early-game. Its not much, but it is in some situations enough to counter a last-hit on you.

Shaco isn't much of a teamplayer, or maybe he is?
You are the one that nukes your enemies, the one that pick up kills and you are the team ward!
Use your JITB's as a ward, so you can warn you teammates, or give them valuable information.
And then set a JITB in the middle of a teamfight is nice to :D
At Last, i will just say... Thanks for reading this guide, and i hope you got what you looked for..
Please don't just dislike.. write a comment if you have something to change.
If you got a item you want in my build... Write it, and i could maybe add it to my core items, but write why and when :D
If this guide is messy... Then it's because i have collected 4 guides from a old account, because of some trollvotes....
But like if you like just one of my builds :D The AP Shaco and the AD Irelia is just Funguides.. :D!
