NEEDS A LOT OF REWORK CUZ OF THE PATCH, THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING
Hello and welcome to my first Guide here on Mobafire featuring

Since the first time i played

(sadly i didnt record it) and this was the moment when i decided to make a guide.
Ok but now without talking too much , lets get started
For all those who are first time playing

During the chaos of the Rune Wars, an enormous runestone was lost deep within the Plague Jungles. It remained there, untouched for centuries, emanating a potent magic which infused nearby wildlife with sentience and vitality. A group of monkeys who were particularly empowered by it came to worship the stone, and their leader - a wise sage - became convinced that he could harness its power to make the monkeys immortal. He performed an elaborate ritual, but things didn't go as he expected. The runestone was destroyed, and instead of granting immortality, it produced Kong, a monkey who carried in his heart the strength and power it had contained. Kong was driven by an unquenchable desire for greatness. He sought out every beast and monster the Plague Jungles could offer, eager to find a worthy opponent, but none offered the challenge he craved. He asked the sage for advice, and learned about a legend of hairless monkeys to the north who, with wits and might, had bent the world to their will.
Wukong left, journeying north, determined to discover if the legend was true. He crossed the Southern Wastes and then the Great Barrier. On his way, he happened upon
Master Yi, who was deep in meditation. Kong asked him who the strongest warrior in the north was, and Yi told him about the League of Legends. The tale intoxicated Kong, a place where he could battle the strongest fighters in the world was, to him, paradise. Kong asked Yi to introduce him to this League, and to teach him the ways of humans, so that he could be a fitting champion. In return, he would honor Yi by using Yi's
Wuju Style to become the greatest warrior Runeterra had ever seen. Admiring his passion, Yi agreed, but under the condition that Kong would one day teach the lessons of Wuju to a pupil of his own. In the spirit of this agreement, he renamed Kong ''
Wukong,'' and gave him a weapon suited to his unusual nature - an enchanted staff that the young Doran had crafted. The weapon was an unrivalled masterpiece. Guided by Yi, Wukong joined the League of Legends to prove himself as the best, and to show the world the true power of Wuju.

So lets start with the good things about
Wukong :

Cyclone)

Crushing Blow deals damage to towers.
- People will underestimate you
Cons:
- Kind of squishy at early game
- Needs to play with patient
- His
Warrior Trickster is easily countered with Oracles Elexir

Runes

For runes i recommend 4x Greater Mark of desolation and 5x

I think the 9x runes of

The next think is should i go 9x

So i personally go 9x

For Quintessence i recommend

I first skill

Now lets come to the Skill explanations.

This passive grants you flat armor and magic resist, additionally you will get for each champion in the near more. I think this passive is pretty decent, its not that good like

This is Wukongs "q" ability it lowers the enemy armor, resetts the autoattack timer and is overall just a nice nuke spell.

This is Wukongs "w" ability. In my opinion its one of the best and trickiest escape tool in League of Legends, because you just can press the button "s". This will make you look like the activation of

Here 2 examples:

This is Wukongs "e" ability, it grants a decent attackbuff for a short duration. It's also a ad scaling gapcloser, which can hit up to 3 enemies. This ability synergize very well with all other spells. For examples:

This is Wukongs ultimate. It grants a spin like

Other Viable choices

A lot of people prefer

Just for removing the cc/dots on you. However i think there are better choices.

Never ever use

Only use

All other summoner spells dont really benefit

For my ~Balanced~ Build
Lets start with the boots:
You first of all want to start
Boots with 3
Health Potion, however there are alyways cases where you need to start
Cloth Armor with 5
Health Potion. For example if you are facing
Yorick. Next thing is, to what should i build this boots ?
There are several viable choices, so lets start with them:
Ninja Tabi, use them if you are facing a champion that deals his most dmg from his autoattacks like
Tryndamere. You can sell them later if their team have a lot of cc. Its just about the laning phase if you win it, you surely have enough gold to change them later.
Ionian Boots of Lucidity, this boots are in my opionion unnecessary, however if you dont have any troubles with you lane opponent and their team dont have that much cc, this boots aren't that bad.
Mercury's Treads, basically this boots are my favourite, because it gives tenacity which is really really op. Also it grants you a slight magicresist boost.
Note: I saw a lot of
Wukongs who builded
Berserker's Greaves, just dont do it, there are better choices for him, because the attackspeed boost dont really benefits Wukongs kit that much.
Now there are probably some Questions why i go double
Doran's Blade.
Pretty simple to answer, with the double Dorans you can easily lasthit. Also they are very cheap and are granting a nice and solid early game.
Next thing is the
Heart of Gold, I just build it, when i feel that I cant really lasthit. Also the heal boost is pretty nice too.
Lets discuss
Trinity Force. This item is basically a must have for Wukong, it's a great addition to Wukongs burst, because of the harmonize of
Sheen and
Crushing Blow. Also it grants Movementspeed and a slow, which is really usefull. Theres only one thing about it that is unnecessary, the 30 ability power.
After that you want to go a bit tanky, otherwise you cant really maximize the full potential of
Cyclone , because it brings nothing if you are dead within 2 seconds after you activated your ultimate. So i asked myself what synergizes good with
Wukong?
And here's the answer
Sunfire Aegis, it grants you life, armor and a nice dmg aura that works perfectly with your
Cyclone. For only 2500 g its just op:).
Next thing I usually build is
Banshee's Veil because it gives you life, mana, magicresist and a shield. Also its very cost efficient.
So after going a bit tanky, you want to add some damage again. So now they are 3 choices:
You go
Last Whisper if they stack a lot of armor or you go
Bloodthirster if they don't, of course you can also go them both but then you will miss your
Guardian Angel
So this really depends on what the enemy team build.
For my ~offensive~ Build
First of all I want to say that i will only write the changes, otherwise i would repeat myself. Also only go this build if your team lacks on dmg and has several tanks that can iniate/protect you.
So the first items are the same
Boots,
Doran's Blade etc. However the first changes are at the build order where i usually would build
Heart of Gold. For that i build 2
Long Sword for some extra damage output. Later i will build them into a
Phage-->
Trinity Force and a
Hexdrinker-->
Maw of Malmortius. Usually i rush
Bloodthirster after
Trinity Force however you can also go for
Last Whisper directly after it.
A
Guardian Angel is a must have in this build, because you are so squishy, everyone will focus you. So there are now 3 choices again:
Bloodthirster or
Maw of Malmortius or
Infinity Edge?
So if you ask me i would build the
Bloodthirster then it depends, if they have a lot of aps go for MoM and if they dont, go for Ie.
For my ~Deffensive~ build
I will just write the changes down, no need to repeat myself and bore the readers=). Also only go this build if you need some tankyness, because of their hard damage comp and your team is lacking some tankyness and have enough damage dealers.
So in this Build i just replaced my
Bloodthirster/
Last Whisper for
Maw of Malmortius and
Randuin's Omen
However there's a choice now if you want to go
Guardian Angel instead of
Randuin's Omen. It's up to you^^
Lets start with the boots:
You first of all want to start

In this chapter i will list up other viable items for
Wukong. However there's no particular order.
So lets randomly start with
Warmog's Armor
It grants you massive Health and lifereg. However the cost is really high and I just think there might be better options for that. Also the "Atmogs" combo isn't that great anymore since the nerf.
Frozen Mallet
It grants a high health pool, a small amount of ad and a decent slow. However if you go this you cant really go
Trinity Force because the slow would be wasted. Also the cost of 3,2k g is ridiculously high.
Aegis of the Legion
Usually this is builded on supports and junglers. However double aegis stacks, so it wouldn't be a waste. But I think there are just better options, basically because it denies one important item spot.
Frozen Heart
This Item might be strange for
Wukong, but actualy all the stats that are given benefits
Wukong. However this does not stack twice, so let the support or tanks build this item, because they need for example the cdr more.
The Brutalizer
It's basically not a bad item on Wukong. However it delays your items after it and the onliest Item that can be builded of
The Brutalizer is
Youmuu's Ghostblade, which is actualy pretty decent on
Wukong but the Attackspeed on it is a bit wasted.
Philosopher's Stone
Pretty nice item actually for the early game, but after that you need to sale it. The sustain on it will help you to play againsts several enemies like
Yorick
Atma's Impaler
It scales nice on high health pools, so it synergize really well with builds that grant +3k health. But since the nerf the popularity decreased hard.
Wriggle's Lantern
Nice early sustain and a free ward. Nothing to complain about it. Can be just delaying your lategame items.
Thornmail
If there team is full of ad carries you may build it, otherwise no:D
Quicksilver Sash
Great item against cc/dots, build it against
Warwick or
Malzahar to counter them hard
Force of Nature
Grants nice stats, nothing to complain about

Lets beginn with the Early game
Buy 3
Health Potion and
Boots or 5
Health Potion and
Cloth Armor. Depends on the matchup. Try to lasthit the minions and after you reach level 2 try to harass with
Nimbus Strike followed up by
Crushing Blow. But dont do this against all champions like
Lee Sin. Always play with Patient. After you reached level 4 and skilled
Warrior Trickster you may go more aggressive, because you can easily escape. However dont overextend, early ganks of junglers will wreck you...
After you hit the level 6 mark you can unleash your full DAMAGE POTENTIAL. Use the full combo E->Q->R->Ignite when the opponent has like 1/4 of his life. And dont forget to buy wards :).
Mid game
In mid game you can try to roam after you pushed your lane of course. Also try to destroy the top lane turret to deal more pressure to your lane opponent and letting you free to roam more easily. However if you lose your lane, try not to feed and always warn your team members if your enemy is missing.
Buy wards and try to push your lane if your opponent is roaming. So he will lose farm. You can also try to destroy his tower while he's roaming. If you didn't lose your lane hard you can also try to counter gank, if you exactly know where he's going. But don't forget pay patient.
Late Game
In late game always try to stick and cooperate with your teammates. Don't flame, it's the key to success. Trust me. Also if your team don't have a tank try to iniate with
Warrior Trickster-->
Nimbus Strike-->
Cyclone
then aim for the carries and shut them down as fast as possible. In late game every mistake counts and can lead you to a lose. So try to play very patient at this game phase and ask your supporter or jungler to buy wards in case you dont have any spot left.
Buy 3
