Armor penetration will win ofc since there are physical abilities used.
But if you're jungling AD quints+ArP marks is a good idea too.

Hi Searz,
In response to your Flat AP vs Magic Pen quints graph, I was wondering what the best glyphs/quints would be for Brand in terms of DPS (w/ default MrP reds and Mana Regen yellows). I noticed AP did beat MrP in the early game, but Brand's passive does an incredible amount of additional damage early game, so much that I am thinking that Magic Pen Quints may stand a chance. Is there any way you could factor in Brand's passive into one of your graphs? Thank you!
Also, when you show why deathcap shouldn't be rushed, what approximate items in terms of gold value were you referring to it terms of the 57 AP / 80 AP items you suggest? Again, thanks!

I think I can answer your first question:

Brand has quite a strong laning phase. He's fairly easy to play decently and can be difficult to deal with in lane. Your passive makes your harassing spells all the more damaging. Flat AP quints boost your strong early game by a good margin, and are definitely worth the slots.
Mpen quints are less useful. As a nuker, you should be getting
Void Staff (and
Archaic Knowledge
) every game assuming it goes long enough. There's no opportunity for the flat mPen quints to do their thing late game if you have all that %pen already. The early game bonus from the flat AP quints is going to benefit you a lot more.

AP will always win early and since Brand is all about his powerful earlygame I think AP quints will be the way to go.
MrP doesn't seem half bad because of his passive though. I can't say for sure. I might graph it.

57AP is how much AP you can buy with the gold you "save" by buying Void Staff instead of Deathcap.
80AP is the most standard amount of AP in one item:

And then there are items with almost 80AP:

Anyways, not to be pedantic, but there's a typo:
The math is correct, but you missed a dot, it's "2.5/11.25=0.22".
Ah, thanks for pointing that out. I'll put that in my list of things to fix/add. I'll be updating this some time in the future :#

Hey, Searz, I have another really hard to make graph for you.
I have actually this
Garen build:
,
,
,
,
21/9/0 masteries, Armorpen marks and Quints.
I want to know, which armorpen item works best on it at which armor?
Last Whisper
Youmuu's Ghostblade(active and not active)
Zeke's Harbinger
Sword of the Divine(only active)
Black Cleaver(Please note how bad it is to stack)

The only graph I MIGHT make is one comparing ArP marks+quints+Ghostblade to ArP marks+AD quints+LW.
The other ArP items are just BAD on Garen.
