Introduction
Hi! My name is HunterR345 and this is my 
Katarina guide! I started playing League some years ago and I discovered that my favorite champ was Kat. I play more champs but I have over 200K mastery with the assasin. I love to try new builds and ways to play with her so thats why i decided to make this guide. My actual elo is Gold III. If anyone is interested in my OP.GG click here.

Pros / Cons
PROS:
Good roaming.
Good laning phase and mid game.
Carry and 1v9 potential.
A lot of mobility.
Very rewarding when mastered.
CONS:
No CC.
Very vulnerable when cced.
Weak late game.
Easily countered.
Hard to master.
Lots of combos to learn.
Weak if behind
Very squishy.
Good roaming.
Good laning phase and mid game.
Carry and 1v9 potential.

Early, Mid and Late Game
EARLY GAME:
In the laning phase, you just want to not die. If you can get some solo kills go for it, but you need your items first. If the enemy laner knows how to play vs Katarina, you have nothing to do.
MID GAME:
Here you just need to roam and get kills from other lanes. If you can't or you are very behind, help your jungler to get objectives. If you play her at a high level you should be fine with 2-3 items even if you dont have kills.
LATE GAME:
This is where Kat begins to fall. In teamfights, you need to oneshot first the carries (ADC's, Mages, etc.). As you may know, your ult, Death Lotus, needs to be used in the middle of the teamfight (most of the times) so that means you are going to be exposed to CC and Damage from other champions. If you have fast mechanics you need to know how much time you can be in the same place without moving.

Conclusion
Katarina is very good champion to learn and practice but it takes time. If you play her at a very high level, you can climb fast and carry your games easily. Hope you enjoyed this guide, i'll try to update it every patch ^^.
